The Dairy Game: A Day At The Library And Other Tales(06-08-2025)

Hello everyone, trust you're all doing great? I am Idara-abasi Sunday but identifies here on Steemit as @purpleidy23. I'm not doing so well, I feel sick and I don't know if it's because of the weather but I pray it shouldn't be anything serious because right now, I do not have the money to visit the hospital.

I woke up yesterday very early but stayed on bed to scroll through my social media handle to get the trending gist, I got out of bed by 8am and prepared so I could go to school and read for the test I had that evening. It was a cold morning just as it has been for the past weeks, I boiled water and had my bath, got dressed and went to school. I had informed my course mate and friend and we picked interest in joining me to revise ahead of the test so when I got to school, I informed her and she said she'd join me shortly. I waited at the lecture hall for her and while sitting there, some young people came to share good tidings with us.

My friend arrived in a short while and we both went to the library. On getting to the library, I took out some important belongings from my bag and shelved the bag before going into the library. I met the librarian and presented my library card before a got a pass inside, I settled down at the library while my friend searched for a spot to charge her phone before coming to join me.

We read till 2:30pm in the afternoon and I took some break, I was tired, hungry and felt sleepy so I told my friend I'd go on a break because I've studied for more than three hours, I needed to rest so my brain could calm. I rest my head on the table and slept though that's against the library policy but it was raining outside and I couldn't step out. It was an hour rest, when I got up, my friend and I left the library to get something to snack on as we were famished.

At 4pm, I went into the hall for the test. The lecturer arrived at same time and began to lecture but before he did, he informed us that the class will hold for an hour and thirty minutes and we'll then write the test. I was scared that all I've read will vanished and wished the lecturer would first give us the test but the lecturer kept to his word.Shortly after the class, attendance was taken by numbering and I joined a bus back home.

I was shivering like a fowl when I got home, I was totally down. I had headache, cold and fever at same time. I took my bath and went to bed, my friend prepared dinner and woke me up to eat. After eating, I wrote my diary game and went back to bed. Thanks for reading, see you on my next post but till then, do have a good night rest.
