SC S25W6: Drawing my anime character.

Greetings and welcome to my blog. A lot of interesting exercises which we performed in the previous weeks, this time. It's an amazing exercise which we are going to work on. Several characters of animes have been discussed and practiced from week one to five. In week 6 we are to going choose an anime which is more personal and can possess the features of any of the previous lessons.
In this exercise, I decided to practice something from my imagination but based on realistic animes which was discussed in week 5. I decided to work on an anime which is going to describe the story of a young girl, the princess Who grew up In a palace.
The name of my character is SATO-VIRA. Sato-vira was a beautiful princess born in a kingdom of Kishore-waga. She grew up on the strict supervision and unwell taken care of. Because of her beauty and long hair, she was one of the most attractive young girl in the Kingdom.
The king dream of her Marrying a prince from another kingdom. There are many kingdoms in this area of the world. By the time she was 18, the king introduced her to one of the prince of another cland. She was not that interested as she would have loved to choose by herself.
There was this maid Who was employed as a worker in the garden. He was so handsome and charming that when the princess saw him, she immediately fell in love with him secretly. Her love for him grow As it was obvious she would see him everyday. One faithful evening, she caught him to her Chambers and express her love for him. The gardener boy was a little to me as he knew he does not possess the qualities which would allowed him to have the princess.
In order to produce the specific character, there are a few requirements we will need to come out with some realistic stuff
- pencil
- ruler
- Eraser
- A4 sheet
- 2B and 4B pencils
With our requirements ready, We can continue with the steps to produce our design.
1. Marking out.
One of the first things I usually do when producing my drawing is to mark out the layers and the proportions in which my design is going to fall in. First, I am going to divide my A4 paper into four quadrants. It can be a sketch or just with a ruler, This is possible.
2. Starting point.
One of the most difficulties people face is where to start the drawing as this matters a lot, based on the dimensions and how your diagram is going to well fit in the A4 sheet. The most easy and common way of starting a drawing is by the head. I have tried this several times and it always gives me the right proportion in the end
In our drawing, I equally began with the head starting with the cheeks and equally producing the eyes. Putting in some work to see that everything comes to pass, I was able to achieve something as follows.
3. Head continues.
With our starting point created, I proceed to add more features on the head to make it look more real and good looking. Here, more care must be applied as the list mistake could destroy your drawing and you would eventually need to start over again. Pay attention to details such as the eyes, the mouth and the ears. Making sure each and every one of these features align properly.
That is exactly what I did and immediately after putting in some extra work to produce some features such as the eyes, the mouth and the rest of the facial features.
4. Body.
The body it's not that complicated as working with the head. It is more practical and takes less time to complete then other features unless it is dealing with more sophisticated designs. In our drawing it's such a simple analysis and this did not take long before I could complete the body.
5. Body continues
Adding more features to the body, it was really amazing to see that a diagram was beginning to take form. I make sure I put in some extra work in order for us to have some realistic results in the end. Adding a few more minutes, I was able to produce the body complete as seen below.
With the body complete, we can conclude that this is the main frame of our drawing. Now what is left is for us to add some shades and make it look more sophisticated.
6. Shading
This is the part where the beauty of the design really shows up. Shading usually take a lot of care. Has not to distort the already available design. It usually takes some extra time as these particular features have to be portrayed with care. If not, you are going to dirty your design of which might not give you the exact results you would have loved to have
Thinking of the exact areas which we need shade, I began shedding my drawing in such a way that is going to look beautiful by the time I am complete. This took me sometime before I was able to produce something which is of a great value. As you can see, my drawing looks like this.
To finalize things up, I decided to take a selfie with my drawing as proof of work. It was really an amazing exercise, and thanks. It works based on my imagination and not linked to specific criteria, it was much more easy and less time consuming producing this design than the previous ones. I really enjoy this so much and I am excited to see that I have up my drawing game through this exercise.
To conclude, I would say I really love and enjoyed this session of drawing anime. It was so cool and fun practicing on different designs and equally learning the various tactics and proportion to producing pencil joint. I want to use this opportunity to give a special thanks the organizer for giving us this opportunity To try out and discover new potentials within us.
Am looking forward to reading and learning different steps of drawing animes from the following persons.

¡Hola!
