The Diary Game[12-07-2025]: Attending a Wedding on a Saturday.

Greetings to you my friends on Steemit and around the world. I'm so happy to bring to you yet another interesting diary, by so doing keeping archives and equally updating my day to day activities. It was an amazing day as I get to attend a wedding of one of my friends.

The previous day, I had traveled to attend this wedding, taking a bus on Friday evening at 10:00 a.m, I am destined to arrived my destination at around 8:00 a.m.. Wr thank God my journey was a success and I arrived my destination right in time. Before 8:00.a.m. I was already in the town which I will be attending the wedding.

Bamenda, I city in the Northwest region of Cameroon is my home town equally. I was so have to be back to my home town. From the agency, I took a bike to my mum's place as it is the closest to the agency and equally the place I will be spending the weekend. A home, I relax for a bit and then my look for something to have for breakfast. Nothing serious yet as I will be going out soon, I took some groundnuts and ate.

Soon afterwards I got a call from my friend whom I will be attending the wedding with. He told me the exact time and location to which this will be taking place. I hurriedly to a bath and soon join him at Central town. Upon arrival, he was already dressing up. I waited him for a while, and later on we book move out of his lodge to the roadside.

From there we took a bike to up-station Bamenda where the wedding will be taking place. Upon arrival in church, another service was going on. A funeral service after which the wedding service will take over. To early for the event, I and my friend decided to move to a nearby snack bar and have some drinks while waiting.

The funeral service to more time than expected and after a while we move back to church to check how far they have gone. Upon arrival, they were already done. We then moved inside the church and have a sit while waiting for service to begin. Soon afterwards , the pastor came in and the wedding ceremony commence.

As service goes on for a while, the church choir animated the atmosphere with songs of praise. This took some time as they wait for the couple to get ready for their grand entrance. As expected the groom soon made his majestic entrance accompany by the little maid and equally his best man. The church all stood up to welcome them in as the choir sings songs of praise.

As he was a ushered to his sit, the pastor then say a little prayer after which the congregation sat down. He continues to notify that the Bride is on her way. So the congregation stood up for the second time as the ceremony continues. The bride dress all white in a magnificent gown move in slowly and majestically. Accompanied by the best girl.

Same procedure as the pastor did with the groom, the pastor soon ask everyone to seat. He continues to apologize for the late start of the event due to the prolonged funeral service. The wedding service carried on successfully and soon , it was offering time.

We all move in order to give our offering. After a while, everything was completed. The pastor then ask for the ring of with they were brought forward. Proceeding the Bride and the Groom all exchange their vows as the put on their various rings.

Almost done , the pastor made some solid amendment to affirm their faith in committing to each other for a better marriage. After this the both responded with. YES I DO. Deal sealed, the pastor then pronounced them husband and wives. You may now kiss the bride.

Moving on from here, the pastor give permission for family members to take pictures with him and the newly weeded in church, from there, the couple moved outside and the rest of the pictures were taken there. I equally hang around to have to few shots with my friend before moving on to the next stage.

The next event was moving to the reception for refreshments. I didn't have much time left and equally my friend was traveling back to another city. I decided we go together and sleep the reception part. Moving back to Central Town, He passed by the agency and paid his ticket before moving to his lodge to take his belongings.

I equally to a bike and return back to the house. Overall, it was an amazing day and I really enjoyed all the activities incorporated in it. Thank you guys for sharing my diary with me and equally stay tune for more interesting diaries soon.
