The Diary Game// 01/09/2025//Resuming work on a new week /new month

It has been two-week-long break from work at site. It was actually a time to take care of myself medically; and as the popular saying goes “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, I needed to take time off so that I can be back with full energy to run efficiently and effectively. That is to say that man's body is not firewood.

I woke up early in the morning to prepare for work.
My family members also were awaken to prepare ourselves spiritually through prayer.
That being done, my wife prepared a morning meal for the family while I was taking my bath.

We ate chicken pepper soup rice together. My little one's favourite, and she was so excited.
I left home at about 8:38a.m (morning).

I took a brisk walk as part of morning exercise to the main road so that I can board a vehicle.

I entered the first vehicle that took me to the first junction, from there I cross over to the side that will lead me to another junction, there I boarded another tricycle that convey me to the second junction.
From the second junction, I boarded the third and the last vehicle that landed me at the construction site.

Transportation fare in Naira was 800 (4 steem equivalent)

At the construction site

I was like saying 'work, here I am once more, but this time around well renewed in strength'.
I entered dressing room, and change to my work place permitted dressing code.

Work commenced immediately; some new guys were given instructions and company's orientation i.e safety guidelines.
Smoothly, workers were assigned different duties at separate location within the premises so that there will be no overcrowding and laziness.

Break time

During noon, we observed a 45 minutes break. Many workers went to canteen to take eat.
I took snacks of a short bread🍞 and a chilled tiger's nut milk. After that I washed it down with water. Total cost of refreshment 600 Naira (3 Steem).

I was truly revived and ready for the next half of the work.

After the break

Work resumed with many tonnes of gravels/stone-based materials being brought in by trucks.
The ground for the car park will soon wear a new. Just take a look at it today and keep records in mind until next time.

Work gradually came to a close at 6:10 p.m.
Meanwhile at the time of closing, trucks were still bringing in more materials in readiness for tomorrow's work.

After accounting for every tools at the store to ensure they are complete, I put them under key and lock.

Back home

On my way back home, I bought roasted plums(African pears) by the road side and also oranges for my family members.

When I reached home, my wife was in the kitchen cooking egg soup, and the aroma was very inviting. I quickly entered bathroom and took a shower, before I came out of the bathroom, the supper was ready.
We ate the soup 🍲, took oranges🍊.

And I was struggling to write my post on Steemit platform because I was tired and there was no public power supply.

But finally I made it.
And entered my bedroom, covered mosquitoes' net and lay down.
