My fellow steemians and members of steem-cameroon community I am here to educate you on something you may not be familiar with. This time it's about relationships. It's about how African ladies reason when it comes to relationship. Just read through and learn from me instead of learning it the hard way. Let's dive in.
Some African ladies, let’s talk. Why do you think only men should spend on you in a relationship?
You’ll say: ‘If he loves me, he will spoil me.’
Cool. But when it’s time to spoil him, suddenly it’s ‘I’m the prize, I don’t spend on men.’ Jokers!
Birthday comes, and the man buys a wig, gown, phone, perfume, and takes you out.
Your own turn? You buy a singlet and boxers, sometimes sef, nothing. You don't end it there, you even come online to brag about it.
Valentine, man must spend. Christmas, man must spend. Random Friday night, man must spend. But you? You’ll post on TikTok and Facebook saying, ‘I can never spend on a man, it’s his job.’
If you can’t even buy your man a ₦5k belt or cook him a surprise meal, but you’re waiting for iPhone 15 and a Dubai trip, that’s not love… that's an advanced billing system and it is a red flag.🚩
Some of you women don’t want partners, you want personal ATMs with emotions attached.
And then you’ll scream ‘men are scum’ when he runs away. Nah, sis, he just realized he was being used.
A relationship is meant to be two people giving, not one person giving while the other only receives. Loving is giving but why are you only open to collecting? If your love is only sweet when money is involved, maybe it’s not love, it’s business.
So I’ll ask some of y'all ladies;
Why are you allergic to spending on men? Did you do it before, didn't it end well and you decided not to do it again or you are just a ’Queen’ who thinks women shouldn't spend on their lover?
