The Dairy Game: /20/06/2025/ DIARY OF A SICK HALF DAY LABOURER

in Steem Cameroon2 days ago

Hy steemfam❤️ it's good to be back here, I believe we haven't stop dreaming and being positive.

Yesterday felt like mini hell to me, I was actually told the previous day that we were going to clean up the space that was renovated, how bold of me to might have thought I was going to execute the whole thing and still be myself.

The cleaning was fixed to be by 8:00 AM but my sleepy eyes stayed back in bed until I was summoned again(just when the sleep was about hitting it core). I hurriedly went to answer to the call but found no one in the office only to find out they were at the lodge so I left to meet them there immediately.

Getting there, no one told me to touch my broom and start doing the needful after arriving late. My colleague and I made sure we cleaned the place so well that I was so proud of myself, maybe I should open a cleaning agency because, I mean why not 😌.

That wasn't all, it was only but the first phase as we proceeded to cleaning the office space (at this moment all i could say was that I ain't a skilled labourer and I didn't sign up for this) but was that going to change the fact I had to work my muscle off. I did what I could and remain what I couldn't for another day.

I hurridly rushed home to get my solar panel placed on the roof but where was the ladder to get the young man to that point, we had to improvise and benches were doubled, left for me alone I won't dare climb because I have phobia for height.

Just when I thought I had escaped the day fever striked, it held me real hard that I couldn't stand not to talk more of walking. My plan of going to the market to get what to cook proved abortive as I spent the remaining day till day broke feeling so sick and lying down on my bed looking like a shadow of myself.

I appreciate you all for going through my post and hope to read from you all.

GRACIAS ❣️
