Morning Activities

In the morning, I woke up, gave thanks to God and proceeded to prepare the kids for summer class and equally made breakfast for the family.

Since I had plans of going to the market, I made sure I was awoke early enough so I can meet up with my daily engagements. I went ahead to pick a few fabrics and went ahead to pick few spices from the market.

I quickly went to purchase some sewing materials for my Mom (fabric lining, threads, zips, elastic, trimmings, buttons ). While still selecting those items, a lady walked in to pick a few items there too and her outfit with Ashoke combo style captured my heart. I couldn't hold it but kindly excused her to take a photo of the outfit.

Luckily, I finished on time in the market and off I boarded a transit. While on my way back to the shop, I stopped by the bank to verify some information concerning my account. So this was me arriving the bank.

I went inside and my business in the bank was with the customer care service providers but it was a bit crowded. I had to wait till I was opportune to sit after a customer left.

And yes, my bank is still observing social distance o and customers still sanitised their hands regularly. They no want hear story that touches.... Smiles.

Meanwhile, there is this young man in my shops neighbourhood that died early hours of the same day and was to be buried that same day in the afternoon. Cause of death was accident. Information has it that he had an accident on the first day of September 2025 but refused to be taken to the hospital. All efforts to save him was aborted by him even as the wounds he sustained from the accident was deep and was seriously bleeding.

I arrived at the compound and since the burial was not conducted by a church but was conducted by his cyclists people, they finished everything on time and took his body to the cemetery to be buried. May his soul rest in peace.

Later that same evening, my kids were craving for "Akara and bread". There is this young lady that sells Akara closer to my shop so my kids wanted to eat from it. I went ahead to buy bread, went to my Akara but they've not started frying yet. They were still in stage one of the Akara making so I had to wait for them to finished to whole process.

I took the Akara to my kids and they were happy that I finally bought it for them. They enjoyed their Akara with bread and cravings was satisfied.

While they were still eating, I was packing things into the shop and before I could finished, their father drove in to pick us.

We got home safely, bathed the kids, had my bath, served their father dinner. Gisted with daddy after dinner for sometime and retired to my bed at about 9:45pm. Indeed, it was such a long day.
