The Diary Game[17/06/2025]A lovely surprise from my mother -in-law.

Hello my fellow steemians season greetings from this end of globe .Today is another awesome day for us to carry on our daily activities.I have so committed this time with online and especially offline personal activities.After, we all have our offline personal life to live.Striving everyday as days are passing by things should be better.

Early morning today,I had plan to do serious laundry .Dirty clothes and shoes packed for the few days .My kids , husband and myself,I took the early hours to do laundry .Eventhough, the weather for today was not a good one but I had make sure our dresses are clean .I made Accra banana and took some ripe pear for my kids and I to eat as breakfast.

It’s been long we ate thing particular combination of Acra banana and pear as our breakfast .My kids enjoyed the breakfast so much .During the afternoon period ,I received a phone call from a driver .Telling me so soon he will be in town that my mother in-law has sent me a bag of Irish potatoes .I was so happy and shocked because I spoke with her the other day and she never said anything like food .

The excitement was not easy as I had to be going at the roadside since the driver will be there soon .At the location of my entrance to hand me the bag.This week my family is so blessed as we have recieved raw food from angles .Especially Irish potatoes that is expensive. In few minutes I was at the roadside waiting for the driver .I collected my bag of potatoes and immediately paid a bike rider to drop it front of our gate .

When I arrived home, I called my mother inlaw immediately,thank God her phone number was passing through. Network disturb in her location and at times to get to my mother inlaw is not always easy .I was so happy appreciated her for our food .While leaving the house I was boiling fresh corn I bought from one lady who came around selling .When I was doing laundry early morning hours .

The fresh corn was ready and I couldn’t hesitate to removed some for my family and I to eat in the evening hours .We all enjoyed it as it was so sweet and nice .My husband was back from work , he loves eating fresh corn. He ate two of it and I did same.

Trying to heat the food and save the family with it .Everyone refused they are full and won’t eat again . We chatted for some time as a family and later called it a day .My day was a good as I received food sent by my mother in-law.The food surprised gift for my family we really appreciated .It was a good day from my end , Until we meet in our next diary session bye 👋👋 👋.
