Closing Issue #261: Following Up on Vesting Route Notice PR

Hello Steemit Team and Community,

I am writing to provide a detailed follow-up on a pending pull request that will finalize a new feature for the Steemit wallet and close out Issue #261.

The Goal: Support for Vesting Withdrawal Routes

The initial goal of Issue #261 was to add support for a powerful blockchain feature: vesting withdrawal routes. This allows users to automatically distribute a portion of their power-down funds to other designated accounts, which is very useful for automated fund management.

Part 1: Core Functionality (PR #262 - Merged)

To address this, I first submitted Pull Request #262, which implemented the core logic for setting and managing these vesting routes. This PR was successfully reviewed and merged—thank you to the team for that.

Part 2: User Notification & Final Touches (PR #266 - Pending)

After the core functionality was in place, it was agreed in a discussion with @ety001 that it would be important to add a notice for users who have these routes configured. This ensures users are always aware that a portion of their power-down is being automatically routed elsewhere.

To implement this and finalize the feature, I submitted Pull Request #266. This PR is now pending review and will completely close the original issue.

Specifically, this PR does the following:

Adds a Notification: Displays a clear message on the wallet page for any user who has active power-down routes.

Adds Explorer Links: Includes links to the Blaze scanner on the FAQ, welcome, and public keys pages to provide users with more explorer options.

Improves Developer Experience: Adds a docker-compose file to make it much faster for other developers to set up and contribute to the wallet.
