SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 51
Hello all,
This is my entry to the contest, "SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 51" in the "Steem Fashion&Style" community, which is organized by @ashkhan.
The photo that I have selected for this contest, from one of our colleagues' wedding day photos. The Wedding was held at Katunayake, Sri Lanka.
The groom is our colleague Amalka Indupama, who is a Mechanical Engineer and a lecturer at the Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The bride is a doctor who currently works in the Balangoda base hospital, Sri Lanka.
Both of them had a very long love story. It was a great pleasure to attend the wedding function of these two lovebirds.
Almost all the academic staff members from our faculty participated in this wedding, and you can see them in this photo. It was great to capture all of them in a photo, since it is very difficult to gather them.
So, for the wedding, I departed at around 6.00 am, on the way, Thimira, Dileepa, and Vimukthi ayya joined my car. It was a fun ride to Katunayake, and the driving on the expressway was truly fascinating. Thimira took the vehicle during the drive on the expressway, but I took the car all the way from Katunayake to Balangoda in the return trip.
So, the wedding and both rides were fun. It was actually a very well spent day with all the colleagues of our faculty.

While reading your post you had a blast at the wedding of those two lovebirds . It was great that almost all the academic staff from your faculty showed up, and capturing them in a photo was a nice touch .The road trip vibes like very awesome .Having friends join in the car made for a fun ride to Katunayake, and driving on the express way was a thrill.Spending the day with colleagues from your faculty sounds like a great way to bond and make memories .
