Hello My Steemain Friends ,
How are you. I hope you people of steemian are good and enjoy your life . Well I am well. May God bless you all. Today I am writing about an interesting and knowledgeable contest which is launched by @ashkhan all time my favourite topic ""Picture of the Day Week 55"" So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic
Just two days ago, a procession was organized by the Agrawal community to commemorate Agrasen Jayanti. The procession included both men and women. Artists sang hymns to Agrasen Maharaj Ji on elephants, horses, and chariots. A man dressed as Agrasen Maharaj Ji sat on horseback. Children dressed as his 18 sons also sat on horses. The boys rode horses, all dressed in safari suits, garlands, and caps, looking very handsome.
A chariot also featured Goddess Lakshmi. With bands, music, and lighting, the procession looked beautiful. All the women, dressed in elegant saris, enhanced the procession. Everyone had their photos taken, chanting slogans like "Victory to Agrasen Maharaj." There's a temple dedicated to Agrasen Maharaj Ji in Delhi, Agroha Dham. I haven't visited there yet, but I have a strong desire to see the temple dedicated to my Agrawal ancestor, Agrasen Maharaj Ji.
When my children were young, they used to ride horses during this procession. But now the children have grown up, as the age limit for riding a horse is only 12 years old. Seeing the children ride it reminds me of my own children. Previously, they would only ride in white kurta-pyjama, but now the community has mandated a safari suit as the uniform.
Agrasen Maharaj Ji had 18 sons, and their names are Goyal, Mittal, Kansal, Bansal, Jindal, Bindal, Garg, etc. Today, these have become the clans of the Agrawals, and in the name of these clans, 18 children are made to ride a horse, claiming to be the sons of Agrasen Ji. It feels great to see all the Agrawals walking together in unison. Along the way, the children are provided with water, chips, and fruits.
So, I've explained the reason for these 18 children dressing up in this way.
I would invite my few friends ,@chant, @lirvic , @pandora , @sduttaskitchen , @edgargonzalez
