Getting ready for the monsoons is an old custom. It's a must-do. Fields sit empty in dry times. Now, they get plowed and prepared. Families come together. They talk about the rain, full of hope.

Seeds saved from the last harvest are checked. Each seed holds the promise of food. Picking the right crop is a risk. Farmers decide based on how much rain will fall. They also consider the soil. And what people want to buy.

The first raindrops bring a mix of feelings. Relief washes over them. Yet, there's a great hurry. Farmers rush to their fields. They want to plant the seeds right away. The rain falls on the dry ground. It's a welcome sound. This means growth. It means food. It promises a good harvest.

Monsoon season means more than just planting. It shows people's strength. It highlights the link between us and the earth. Farmers always have hope. This hope keeps their way of life strong. Clouds gather.
