"Prove yourself as the best artist for the week".

Greetings dear friends! I hope you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @dequeen for organising and sustaining this contest. This week, I drew the picture of a lady to "Prove yourself as the best artist for the week".

What I drew in this week's contest is a lady standing and dressed in her long singlet (underwear). She also has her long hair packed at the back.

Materials used for the drawing

• Plain white embossed paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Razor Blade
• Cotton wool

Step 1
I began by writing my name and date on the paper, and then I sketched the outline of the lady's face and head. I also drew the neck and the outline of the long hair behind her neck.

Step 2
Here, I sketched the eyes of the lady and her nose. After that, I drew the eyebrows. I also drew the mouth, the earring in her ear and lastly shaded the hair on her head.

Step 3
I shaded the eyes of the lady and the black eyelids. I also shaded the eyelashes and the nostrils. I beautifully shaded the eyebrow, the lips and her entire face. I also darkened the hair on her head, extended the hair down her neck, and lastly I drew her shoulder and shaded her ear.

Step 4
I drew her body from the shoulder down to her hip. I began with her left hand, followed her bust (breast) and then her stomach down to her waist and lastly her hip. I concluded the step by drawing her right hand.

Step 5
I shaded the body of the lady from her neck down to her shoulder, her chest and armpit. Lastly, I drew and shaded her necklace and concluded by shading her singlet (sleeveless shirt or underwear).

✅ How long did it take to complete your drawing, and how do you feel about it?

This week's drawing took me about five hours and twenty minutes to complete. I have made numerous adjustments to ensure that what I presented is accurate. I am truly happy because I was able to finish the drawing and got the desired result.

Above is my selfie with the drawing, and I want to inform you that I was inspired to make this drawing by my child. He saw the image in my phone and asked me whether I could draw the image. I answered him yes, and so I drew it using a pencil.
