Greetings! How are you today? I believe you are fine as I am. Today I made a beautiful drawing as an entry into this contest. Kindly go through this article as I unfold the drawing step by step.

What I drew in this week's contest is a bird walking with sneakers on its legs and it also put on a hat on its head.

Materials for the drawing
The materials I use for my drawing are:

• plain white paper
• Pencils
• Crayola
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I wrote my name and date on the plain white paper and after that, I drew my bird. I started the drawing from the beak, followed by the crown down to the back, and then the wings. I also drew the throat, the breast, the belly and the tail feathers. I then conclude with the foot. I did that using a 2B pencil.

Step 2
I completed one of the legs in sneakers. I started by drawing the sneakers. I first drew the top line, followed by the heel cap, the face of the sneakers and then the heel. I also drew the eyelet and the lances using a 2B pencil.

Step 3
I drew the second leg of the bird also in a sneaker, following the same steps as in step 2, using a 2B pencil.

Step 4
I drew the eye of the bird, and after that, I drew the hat on the head of the bird. For the hat, I first drew the brim, and then concluded with the crown using a 2B pencil.

Step 5
At this step, I began shading. I first shaded the beak, the eye, the head and the neck of the bird. I did that using a 10B pencil.

Step 6
I shaded the wings, the tail, the belly and the breast of the bird using a 10B pencil.

Step 7
I shaded one of the legs and the sneakers on that leg. For the sneaker, I began the shading from the heel cap, the laces and other parts of the sneaker.

Step 8
I shaded the second leg using the process found in step 7.

Step 9
Here, I trace the cap using a blue crayola after erasing the pencil lines. I also shaded the cap with the same blue crayola from the brim to the crown.

Step 10
I concluded by drawing a thread hanging on the beak of the bird, and at the end of the thread is the shape of a heart hanging and painted in red colour using a red crayola.

✅ How long did it take to complete your drawing, and how do you feel about it?

It took me approximately two hours to start and complete this drawing. I feel excited at the end of the drawing because I got the result as expected.

I saw a video of someone printing this piece of art using paint and a brush, which caught my attention, and I decided to replicate it using pencils and crayola.
