Greetings friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @zisha-hafiz for organising and sustaining this contest titled "Contest || Unlock Your Creativity || Week - 19". Today, I drew a boy who is neglected by his parent, as such, he begs on the street with tears on his eyes.

Materials For Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• A blade for sharpening the pencil

Step 1
I drew the head of the boy. I started from the forehead down to the cheek and the lower jaw. I then drew the hair on his head, the ear and then the neck. I also drew the eyebrow, the eyes, the nose and the big, wide-open mouth.

Step 2
I drew the right hand of the boy with a bowl on it which he used for begging.

Step 3
I drew the second hand of the boy, which is resting on the ground.

Step 4
I drew the stomach and the two legs of the boy. For the legs, I began with the right leg followed by the left leg. I also drew the trousers he is wearing

Step 5
Here, I began the shading. I shaded the face of the boy, which I lightly used a 10B pencil for the face, and I used the same 10B for the mouth.

Step 6
I shaded the hair on the boy's head, and I also shaded the ear.

Step 7
I drew and shaded the tears on the boy's face and I also shaded the neck and chest of the boy. His chest is open, and the drawing shows how malnourished the boy is.

Step 8
I shaded the shirt and trousers of the boy. The shading shows how dirty and worn out his shirt is.

I shaded the legs and hands of the boy, and I also shaded the bowl he is using to beg.

Step 10
I shaded the ground on which the boy is sitting. I also drew some particles on the ground.

Step 11
I drew some houses in the background. I shaded them appropriately and shaded the sky and particles on the ground.

Conclusion
This drawing portrays the true state of some children in the world, especially in Nigeria and how they need support for survival. It is also a call for parents and the government to step up as this children are innocent and deserve a good life.
