Here is my picture for the Day. A natural occurrence which we have no power to stop but just to adjust to it.

The day began well and clear, only to turn cloudy a few hours later, changing the weather, and it started to rain. It is the period of rain, and today, it isn't looking like it'ss stopping anytime soon. Even when it seemed like it wanted to subside, it kept drizzling, making the streets and roads empty because no one was coming out of their homes.

People who had already left for work earlier were trying to shield themselves with their umbrellas, hoping the rain would stop soon so that they could go about their activities and businesses as usual. Days like this, the weather is usually not favourable for business owners because the rain tends to stop customers from buying or carrying out any transactions.

There are people for whom this weather is favourable, like the farmers, because their plants get an adequate water supply, helping in improved soil quality and healthy growth of crops, reducing the stress of artificial sourcing of water supply.

While to some it's a bad day, like stores that will have low patronage as people would not want to visit physical stores in the rain, and the rain affects some people's mood of going out. Like I said earlier, we cannot do anything about it but adjust to it.

Today just reminds me of few days back I had to go to the market for my usual groceries shopping, i had planned to get to the market early only for the rain to start falling, it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon so I had to continue with my shopping, even with the umbrella I had the rain fell on me, at some point it stopped, the best part was the weather was cool and I wasn't tired after my shopping.

My country can be very hot, but the weather like this makes the day cool and cloudy, making the sun not shine much. It gives that feeling that the day is still early. For me, the weather did not stop my schedule for the day, I only had a few changes on the activities I wanted to do today.
