SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 48

Good evening everyone. How are you all today? Hope we are great and doing well. I am glad to be here again. Gaining more consistency in my experience on steemit. The last blog I wrote, I told us about the importance of not giving up and I am glad that I didn’t. Well, I have gotten a job and it’s not been easy though but I am enjoying the process of fitting in naa settling down gradually.

It can be hard to work all day and still be very active over here but I will keep trying my best. Hopefully everything will fall into place small small. So today, I am participating in this contest and I am sharing my best photo of the week and it’s none other than one of my beautiful arts collections.

I told us how I love arts and I love to look out for beautiful art pictures wherever I go to and I snap them. I just love to admire them a lot. So on one of my movements I came across another fine picture is an art work. Infact the whole place was filled with so many fine arts pictures but I was in a hurry. I was with my aunty and she was hurrying me, therefore I couldn’t get all the pictures I wanted. I was thinking that I was going to have time to come back to that place to snap more pictures but I didn’t. So it was just few I snapped.

This photo is an art work of a woman. I won’t say it’s a beautiful woman because I feel the person who painted it didn’t mean to make her have a beautiful facial appearance but we are all beautiful in our own ways right? Yea. What I love about the picture is her smile. Her beautiful smile with her closed eyes had a great effect though the eyes may not be closed per day because she’s pouring out what I think is water from the smaller calabash inbetween her atms and her hips into a small bowl plate.

So if her eyes are really closed, how will she see to accomplish that. So I think it’s not closed but the angle from which it drawn, is making it look like her eyes are closed. Apart from that, her dressing shows she’s a typical African woman. The colour of the beads she’s wearing matches with her wrappers. Her dressing is showing that she’s from the eastern part of Nigeria. The colour moxture of the yellow and blue go well to make the picture.

The art work generally is fine. I love the final picture on looking at it. It paints the picture that the woman is also homely and I was glad I took a picture to share with us. Thank you and look out for more fine art work from me.
