Hello Steemians,I hope you're all doing Splendid. I want to share with you my picture of the week, I took this picture when I came out as the second prize winner in an essay competition organized in my church.Each time I view this picture I'll smile and I'm always proud of this feat.

The Competition was hosted in honour of one of our beloved minister in church who celebrated his 10years Anniversary in Ministry. It was an honour to be part of the essay writing competition for this great occasion.

A friend in church forwarded the topic to me via WhatsApp with the procedures on how to be submitted via email, when I glanced through the topic it was quite political to me and I was reluctant to participate as i am not a fan to political matters, The topic to write on was titled"As the President of Nigeria, How will you solve Nigeria's Biggest Problem". Through much Pressure from him, I made up my mind to give a shot, I highlighted some of the problems and how to resolve them, this writing made me see myself in the position of being a leader. After submitting , I assumed that other competitors who are good in political issues would over ride me but on a fateful day I received an email to come for a presentation to defend my writing. I did what I knew best and the result came out, to my shock I was screened out as the 2nd Position.

This experience motivated me that day to believe in myself, keep learning and keep writing in my little way.
