Powerup and win contest #10 /(14.086)

Hi friends,
It's a pleasure to share my power-up with everyone in this community and the Steemit platform at large, and I want to thank @alexanderpeace for organizing this contest.

Power up, as we all know, is a means of growing our accounts on the platform so as to have more influence on post payout whenever we vote on other people's publications. Today, I wish to also grow my account to earn more curation rewards.

I have decided to share my entry. Please see the process I have used below to power up my Steem.

The steps I have used to perform this function are seen below. So I want you all to go through it and see the process I used to carry out this power-up today.

Step 1: Go to your Steemit wallet and log in. When you log in properly, you will see the page displayed in the manner below.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu, which is beside the Steem token, and click on power up, as seen in the below screenshot.

Step 3: Enter the amount of Steem you wish to power up and then click on the power up button as seen in the screenshot below.

Step 4: Confirm the amount of Steem you wish to power up by clicking on ok, as seen in the screenshot below.

Step 5: Go back to your Steemit wallet and check if the amount you have powered up has been added to the power-up section. See the screenshot below.

Importance of powering up

Power up helps to build our account, and it also a means of growing up in steemit.

Conclusion

Powering up Steem is one of the fastest ways one can grow their accounts in the Steemit platform. I have always admired it when I see people with big Steem power vote on my post, and I get a notification that a certain user has voted. I want to get to a stage where my vote on people's posts also will be visible.

With consistent power up I believe I will grow my account and also earn good curation rewards in the future.
