SC S25W2: Drawing Shonen Anime

I’m agitated to join Week 2 of the Steemit Challenge The Art of Anime Drawing. A big thank you to the organizers for this great occasion to express our love for anime through art. This week’s theme is each about Shonen anime , which is one of my favorite stripes. Action, adventure, fellowship, and fighting for justice what’s not to love?

🔥 My Character Choice Goku from Dragon Ball Z

This week, I took to draw Goku , the main icon from Dragon Ball Z , created by Akira Toriyama . Goku is one of the most iconic Shonen idols. He's strong, determined, and always wants to cover his favored ones. I love his personality and his indelible spiky hair, so I allowed
it would be delightful and grueling to draw him.

✏️ Materials I Used

• A4 white paper
• HB pencil for sketching
• 2B and 4B pencils for outlining and shadowing
• Eraser and sharpener

🖌️ Drawing Process Step- by- Step

Step 1

In this step I draw the basic outline for Goku to start the drawing.

Step 2

In this step I draw the head, face and hair of the Goku. In the first I draw the head and than I draw the face of the Goku. After that I draw the hairs of the Goku.

Step 3

Then I draw the hands and arms of the Goku. And I draw the muscle of the Goku on both hands and arms.

Step 4

Then I draw the chest of the Goku and waist of the Goku using HB Pencil.

Step 5

In this step I draw the both legs of the Goku and feet of the Goku using HB pencil.

Step 6

In this step I draw the details of the Goku using HB pencil and draw eyes and nose and mouth of the Goku using pencil.

🎨 Shadowing Process

In this step I highlighted the Goku using HB pencil and Also write my username and date of the post and now it's ready For my dear steemians.

I started shadowing using the 2B pencil for light areas and the 4B pencil for deeper murk , like under the chin, in the crowds of his clothes, and around the muscles. I tried to produce a discrepancy between the dark areas and light areas to give the delineation depth.

Eventually, I outlined everything with a sharp pencil to bring clarity to the delineation.

💬 Final deliberations

This challenge really motivated me to try harder and ameliorate my anime delineation chops. Goku is a character I've respected since nonage, and drawing him brought back numerous happy recollections. It was a bit grueling to capture the muscle details and hair rightly, but I enjoyed every step of the process.
