بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Assalam-o-Alaikum !

Hey dear friends ! Warmly Welcome to my post steemians. How's everyone doing ? Life's good for me. My best wishes for a healthy and happy life to all steemians. I am thrilled to share my cooking skills with all of you in this contest which is held by my dear sister @zisha-hafiz . I have prepared a very popular dish from my hometown of Lahore. In my area it is known as paya (goat trotters). Guys, Paya is a necessity in our local cuisine. Mostly Lahorian's cannot get enough of this dish. It is rich in flavors. The tender meat makes it a favorite among many.

So let's get started. I will show you how to make mouth watering Paya

Procedure:

Step 1

After reciting Bismillah, I washed the Paya thoroughly. I gave them a good wash. Then I placed them in a pan. Next, I added jug of water in it.

Step 2

Then I added all the mentioned ingredients in it except for ghee and fresh coriander. I got to the tomato into slices and added them to the mixture. Then I mixed it wellThen I mixed it well, covered it with a lid and let it cook. I did not have a pressure cooker. So I cooked it in a regular pan for about an hour and half. With a pressure cooker we can cut the time in half. Steemians feel free to use either method , both work great.

Step 3

After an hour and a half, I checked on the Paya. It is just right the trotter is tender and the colour has deepened. The gravy looks amazing lovely rich color and thin consistency.

Step 6

When it was nicely fried. I add the separated gravy and two glasses of water to help the meat cook through and the gravy would chicken even more. You can check the salt and chilli in it. You can add more if needed to suit your taste.
