SFS Contest Week 47! Drawing Contest Draw Beetroot

Dear community greetings! I am very happy to meet you again. I wish everything is going well to your side, dear friends. Today this post is about drawing beetroot. This is a root vegetable famous for its rich red colour like blood and simple beauty. It's look is common but shape style make it a natural beauty. Beetroot is used all over the world for its nutritional quality and earthy flavour. It is also very helpful for health in different ways. I enjoyed sketching it because of its bold appearance and unique shape. Drawing beetroot reminds me nature simplicity and the importance of healthy living.

These items I used at the time of drawing beetroot 🫜.

Step 1

First, I took start from outer shape of the beetroot slice. I used a pencil and made a circle shape that looks beautiful. After that I drew small circles inside it, one after another. These circles showed the inner side of the beetroot. I made the lines light and wavy for natural look. This step was easy, but I did it with full focus and care.

Step 2

In the second step, I drew leaves around of beetroot to make the drawing look more real and nice. I drew three big leaves coming out from back of beetroot. This shape I kept slightly rough from ti edges like real beetroot leaves. Then I carefully drew the middle vein and side lines in the leaf. These lines gave the leaves a more realistic look. This step made the drawing look fresh, like a real vegetable from a garden.

Step 3

In the third step, I drew the full beetroot beside the sliced one. I made circle shape to show the complete beetroot. After that, I made long wavy root coming from its bottom. After that, I drew different thin stems on the top, pointing upward in different directions. These stems gave a fresh and natural look. This part completed the base sketch and made the drawing look like real beetroot freshly picked from the farm.

Step 4

After that I filled colours in the sketch. I took green colour and filled in leaves slightly. After that I also filled parrot pencil colour in the leaves to give natural look. Next I took purple pencil colour and make veins in the leaves for make it more beautiful. These things make beetroot more real.

Step 5

In the fifth step of drawing, I coloured in slice shape of beetroot. I traced circle of beetroot with pink coloured. I filled black pointer in blank space near circle. Then I took pink and red and colour for giving natural look to beetroot. I wrote my user name and community name. My friend that was procedure, how I drew beetroot.
