SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 55

Happy new week, this is the last Monday for September 2025. A Monday in September 2025 that we will never see again. Of course I will create a post on a day like this because I can't afford to miss the opportunity of creating a post on the last week of September 2025. This contest is one of my favourite contests in steemit and once again I thank @ashkhan for always organizing this contest weekly.

Medals shared successfully

The competition we had last month ended successfully with us carrying the trophy for second position again as it was the same trophy we took the last time we participated in this tournament in 2023. This made some of us to start asking ourselves if we are Arsenal in the Premier league. The reason we said such a thing is because Arsenal took the second position in the premier league in 2-3 seasons in a row.

This season they have been maintaining the second position because Liverpool was unbeaten until when Crystal Palace won them with one goal towards the ending of the match they were about to draw. Arsenal haven't lost much matches, they have been winning more and drawing less but they hardly lose matches this season. Liverpool lost on Saturday gave them more hope of getting to the top of the table.

But that's not why I'm here today as that will be a gist for another day, a very interesting one. So few Sundays ago medals were shared to the youths that played the matches on the tournament. Ofcourse I wasn't expecting a medal because I didn't play any match, that wasn't my interest and we had enough youths to play. The medal is fine and in one of my upcoming posts I think I will be able to post a picture of one of the players holding the medal.

I don't want to post it here because in this particular contest, I love uploading just one picture and there are Steemians who does that sometimes while some upload more than 1-2 pictures. There was a time in the mass one of the Sundays in August when all the players walked to the front of the church and our Parish Priest who's at the middle of this picture, talked about the tournament and he prayed for the players and all those that made it a success.

All the players couldn't be present but at least majority of them were present and some came after the mass to take theirs. This picture was posted in our WhatsApp platform that day and I wasn't in the church when this happened because I attended the 6am mass and it took place in the last mass for that Sunday which was 9am mass. A video of what happened was sent to the platform that's why I had to something more to say here.
