POWERUP AND WIN/ (17.750)

I am excited to participate in this contest where I will be sharing my experience of powering up 17.750 STEEM. If you're new or thinking about doing the same, I hope this post helps make things easier.

MEANING OF POWER-UP
Power-up is the conversion or transfer of liquid Steem into Steem power to enable a Steemian to get more influence.

IMPORTANCE OF POWER UP

•Powering up helps in building Steem power.

•Helps in growing one's reputation on Steemit.

•Converting Steem to Steem power makes Steem scarce thereby influencing its price positively.

•Powering up helps Steemian to move from one club to another.

•You earn more curation rewards.

•Powering up helps you grow, support others, and be more active in the community.

POWER UP PROCESS
After logging into my account, I tapped on “Wallet” at the bottom of the screen. I saw I had 17.750 STEEM and 61 SP.

To start the power-up, I tapped the small triangle next to my STEEM balance and selected “Power Up.” A page opened titled “Convert to STEEM POWER.”

I entered the full 17.750 STEEM, added my Active Key, and tapped OK. That was it! My Steem Power went up to 79, and my STEEM balance dropped to zero. It is not a slow but fast process

I experience network glitch after powering up, after some minutes, my Steem Power showed up
