🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

July Cultural Fest 2025 was organized by Saimum Shilpigoshti. I got a lot of great experiences in my life by coming to this event. And I am going to present those experiences to you.

The sky was cloudy since that morning. It was raining heavily. We went through another artist group. That artist group was Uchun Shilpigoshti. They had a stress performance there. And we had the opportunity to act in that performance. So it was mandatory for us to go there first. After eating in the afternoon, we went there first. After going there, I saw that it was completely deserted. People had not started coming yet. Originally, the event was to be inaugurated at 3:30 pm. But we were there around 2:00 pm. After we went there, I saw how it was arranged. The place was arranged very beautifully. I realized that if people gathered, this event would become very bright. We will do a cultural program and that program will start after Maghrib. So for now, we had nothing else to do except wander around.

We slowly walked towards the front of the stage. The chairs were still empty there, the guests had not yet arrived. There was still an hour left for the program to start. So I was watching closely as the cameraman was fixing their cameras. Everyone was setting their positions so that the program could be broadcast live when it started. Because the July Cultural Fest has been organized on a large scale. This program will last for four days. Big journalists and influential people of the country will come here. Also, state advisors are supposed to come here. So it has been arranged very beautifully and on a large scale.

Then we sat down there. To see the program being inaugurated. The central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Jahidul Islam Bhai, came here to inaugurate the program. Former president of Dhaka University, Sadeq Qayyum Bhai. Also, cultural advisor Farooqui Ahmed came here. They arrived around 3:30 and took their seats. And today's program was inaugurated through their speeches. Members of the martyr's family were also present at the program. As soon as the program was inaugurated, the stage was filled with people. Everyone was enjoying the program very peacefully.

When the program started, we went to the side to walk around. Because we will have a program from the evening, we will not be able to walk around even if we wanted to. So as soon as the rain subsided, we went to see all the activities. There, an exhibition was made in the form of a map of Bangladesh. The names of the brothers who were martyred in each department were written in that department. Also, one grave was set up in each department as a grave for the exhibition. We liked this new idea of theirs very much. Because no one can come up with such a unique idea. They were introducing the July martyrs to everyone through this map of Bangladesh.

There was another sign next to it. Every single way innocent students were killed during the July Movement of dictator Sheikh Hasina was depicted there. The scene of a risk-taker running towards the hospital during that movement was depicted through a statue. Then the police who were supposed to be servants of the people, on the orders of the government, became people-eaters. This picture depicts how they killed people and threw them away. It also depicts how the dead bodies of the protesting students fell on the police tank. Seeing these scenes, it felt like we were back in the July Movement a year ago.

In another place in the next room, pictures of brave Ghazis were hung during the July Movement. Through these pictures, we can see the evidence of the discontent of the July martyrs. These pictures are our inspiration. We will never forget these martyrs and Ghazis. They came down to the streets selflessly. And because of them, the first incident of dictator Hasina happened. Through this, we got to see the new Bangladesh. While wandering around like this, it was time for Magi prayers. We all prayed in the mosque.

After the prayers, we all went to the stage. After the prayers, we all gathered outside together. And after gathering together, we went to the side of the stage. There was our makeup room. Each character was getting ready in the outfit he would play. I was standing on the stage watching the other people's programs. And ours would start only after their programs ended, so we were all preparing in that way.

From our side, it was over. Some dressed up as police. Some dressed up as Chhatra League. Everyone dressed up in their characters like everyone else. I will play the character of a martyr. That's why there was no need for any special outfit. I got ready to go on stage the way I was. I only tied a red flag on my head. Which maintains my love for Bangladesh. Then I went on stage.

Our main story was arranged in such a way that the July protests were revealed through our acting. First, we were ordinary students. There, we were marching on the streets to demand our rights. At that time, the police came and stopped us. Then, we gathered at one place and were announcing our next schedule when Chhatra League workers ambushed us. In the attack, Taher Bhai, the assistant director of the Uchna Shilpi Gosthi, was shot dead by the police.

Then, we performed a performance with Tahir Bhai. In that ghazal, the brother's body was displayed. The ghazal was like this: Tahir, my brother has lost his brother, whom that bird sitting on the branch of a pomegranate calls. The ghazal was very beautiful to listen to. I myself liked the ghazal a lot. I was a corpse for a minute in the character of Tahir Bhai. I played the role of that corpse the whole time on stage.

When I came back after finishing the program, I saw the history of martyr Tahir Bhai's martyrdom. Then I took a picture of myself standing next to the brother's picture. I felt blessed to be able to play the role of such a martyr. Some people from the side said, Tanvir brother, you look a lot like Taher brother. After listening to him, I looked at Taher brother's picture for a while. Then I saw that I actually have a lot in common with my brother. Allah Almighty has granted the brother the status of a martyr.

Today's experience was one of the best experiences of my life. Since childhood, I had dreamed of sitting in front of such big programs and enjoying the programs. But I never imagined that I would get the opportunity to act in that program myself. Being able to act in such a big program made me feel very good.
