Contest alert!!!!!!!! Suprise by @tempestinyang

Good day my fellow steemians and members of this community. I'm here to participate in this wonderful contest which is organized by @drhira And I also want to thank @mercybliss for inviting me to join in the contest. I hope you enjoy as you read along.

I want to share two moments of my life that I was surprised by love ones. Though mine isn't about birthday. However, I felt so blessed with such surprises.

The first one is about my Mum. That woman is truly an Angel on earth. She shocked me me on my graduation day. I was not expecting her because she told me she didn't have money to come and celebrate with me. Then she's also a civil servant. She can't leave work to come be with me.

I accepted my fate. I was going to be alone or with friends because I didn't have any hope of any family member coming to celebrate with me. I was drawing as usual. I stayed indoors until I finished my artwork. It was my day, but I had to satisfy my client.

When I was done with the job I had a surprise call from my mother. She said she's in my school. At first I didn't believe her.
She told me exactly where she was in my school. She thought I had come out for the ceremony, she didn't know that I was still in my apartment figuring out how I will satisfy my client. I had to rush to the bathroom, washed myself, brushed, groomed and dressed up looking dashing and presentable.

I got into the school campus. I called her on the phone and she told me to meet her at the school parking lot. When I got there I was shocked. Momma didn't come alone. She came with her friend and her own mother which is my grandma. She used a bus. She came with 3 big food flask full of our local cuisine of jellof rice, Afang soup and fufu. I swear I didn't expect all that treatment.

I started making calls, inviting my friends to come and join me. It was one of my happiest day in my entire life. This showed me how much my Mom loves me. When my friends arrived the school we drove down to my apartment to celebrate with friends and neighbors. I will never forget this awesome surprise. I believe sharing it here is also like saving it for the future. God will forever bless my Mom. I can't pay her back for all her sacrifice.

My second surprise came from my ex girlfriend. Her name is Asa Juliet. Juliet is one of my favorite girl as at then. She was always there for me no matter the situation. I have made 2 portraits for her. Let's get down to the surprise story.

One day I was working as usual and my Rihanna called me on the phone. Note: I have the habit of calling my girlfriend my Rihanna because I'm obsessed with Rihanna. As I was saying she called me on the phone, telling me that she wants to meet me. Like she wants to see me because we haven't seen each for some months.

I told her I would love to see her too but I wasn't financially capable of going out on expensive date. She asked me to come just like that. I was skeptical. I didn't trust her. I carried my wallet along because I wasn't ready for any embarrassment. When I got to the meeting point, which was chicken republic Ikot Ekpene road, Uyo.

When we got into the lobby my girl held my hand and headed to the counter to order something for me us. To be honest I wasn't comfortable. I wisely decided to order what I can pay for in case of any issues. To my greatest surprise my girl footed the bills and ask if I wanted more. The whole looked like a Hollywood scene.

To cut the long story short. We enjoyed our meal. We chattered about our business and life purpose in general while enjoying our food. When we were done we parted ways to our different destination. Mission accomplished. I and my ex had a great evening date. I will never forget that day.
