SFS Contest Picture Of The Day Week 45
Hello follow steemians welcome to my blog. How are you doing in your respective countries? I'm here to join this thoughtful contest.
I will also like to use this opportunity to thank @ashkhan for organizing this wonderful contest. @mercybliss I appreciate your effort of inviting me to the contest. I love all the support and sincere assessment I get from this awesome community on a regular. This is one of my favorite community. Here is my story for the week. I wish you happy reading. Don't fail to leave a comment and upvote.
This photo was taken was taken prior to my birthday. It was for memories because I took it for turning 30 years old. I was officially going to become a tricenarian. I was so afraid of turning 30. I felt like it's an old age.
However I started surfing the internet searching for other people's experience on turning 30 too.
As I kept searching I found some lessons from other people's views. These views were very helpful. Gradually my fears dwindled. Turning 30 can be very disturbing. I will share with you some of the lessons I learnt before turning 30.
Here are few lessons you can also learn.
✅ Learn To Love And Respect Yourself:
At this age you should know that nobody loves you more than you love yourself.
Learn to be a little selfish and do something for yourself every day, something different once a month and something spectacular every year. Something that makes you satisfied.
✅ Family Life Is Important, Invest In It:
At this point of your life you're no longer a child. Spend more time with your folks. It’s a different relationship when you’re an adult and it’s up to you how you redefine your interactions.
✅ Marry When You Want, Not Out Of Pressure:
Don’t feel pressured to get married or have kids if you don’t want to. What makes one person happy doesn’t make everyone happy. Some people have chosen to stay single and childless and they still live a happy and fulfilled life. Do what feels right for you. And make sure you don't feel guilty.
✅ You Still Don't Know What You're Doing, Get Use To It:
Unless you are already dead, mentally, emotionally, and socially you cannot anticipate your life 5 years into the future. It will not develop as you expect.
Most of what you think is important now will seem unimportant in 10 or 20 years and that’s OK. That’s called growth. Just try to remember to not take yourself so seriously all the time and be open to it. Learn to relax and enjoy the process.
✅ Growth Is Important, Don't Stop Learning And Growing:
Learning should only stop when you are no longer alive. You have two assets that you can never get back once you’ve lost them: your body and your mind. Most people stop growing and working on themselves in their 20s. Most people in their 30s are too busy to worry about self-improvement. But if you’re one of the few who continues to educate themselves, evolve their thinking and take care of their mental and physical health, you will be light-years ahead of your peers by 40.
✅ Don't Be Afraid Of Taking Risk, You Can Still Win:
Don't let fear stop you from developing yourself on a regular. It will improve your all-round well being and apparently keep you updated on the development and happenings of this generation.
Most of what you think is important now will seem unimportant in 10 or 20 years and that’s OK. That’s called growth. Just try to remember to not take yourself so seriously all the time and be open to it.
