Special day with mother @tempestinyang

Hello steemians and my fellow members of this community I'm so glad to be a participant of this special contest. I want to use this opportunity to thank @drhira for organizing such a thoughtful contest. I'm here to share my own experience with my mum. I hope you love it as you read it.

Of all my achievements in life I would proudly say spending time with my mum is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
My mother is my day one best friend. I will tell you how I gave my mum a baby girl's treatment. However, I will be honest with you I didn't do this on mother's day. I love my mum. She deserves to be taken care of all the time. Those who knows the value of their mothers can't celebrate momma only on mother's day.
Mother are special people. They are irreplaceable. I can't exchange momma for anything else on earth. I have so many memories of times I spent with my mum I definitely cannot write it all here. However, I will share with you about one time I took here out for a treat.

It was on a normal day I told mum that I will like to spend time with her and that we're going out for lunch. I told her I just wanted to give her a treat. Before we going out for lunch in my favorite eatery I had to first of all take mum to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. I intentionally did that so it would ease her the stress of having to cook at home. Momma loves home cooked meals but I told her to rest today. That was the beginning of my treatment to her. When we got to the restaurant I bought her a local cuisine.

The local dish is knows as "Afia Efere" in my local dialect, which means "White Soup" in English. The soup is always prepared from yam or cocoyam. It's one of the most expensive soup of all the soups in every restaurant. Let's forget about the making of the soup, maybe I will talk about that some other time.

After I and mum finished eating we went home and changed our outfits for the outing.
Mum is a very simple woman when it comes to dressing. She dressed up looking dashing on a gown. I also got dressed in a skinny jeans and a sleeveless basketball vest. I love simplicity. I didn't tell mum about where I was taking her to precisely. She's naive about malls and eateries in town. We boarded a tricycle from our apartment and headed to Ibom Plaza. The trip was a couple of minutes but it was memorable. When we got there (Ibom Plaza) we had to trek I little from where the tricycle stopped to the spot. It was De Choice mall. De Choice mall is one of my favorites spot in town. I love taking my friends and love ones to that spot wherever I intend to give them a special treat. I do so because the mall is so large and tends to meet up with almost all the demands of their customers.

I bought pizza for mum. Mum acted weird cause that particular cuisine was strange to her. However, I was glad we could finish the whole thing together. This is not the first time I have taken my mother out. I have done that a couple of times. But I have never given mum a foreign cuisine before. Since my mother isn't familiar with going out like that, she hurried the meal so we can go back home.
Should I say momma is a local woman. Well I don't have to go against her will. After the meal we left the eatery, trekked a little and took a tricycle back home. That was one of the best days of my life. I will never forget that day.

Mothers are priceless and irreplaceable we should always do kind and thoughtful stuffs for them while they are still alive since life is too short.

Here is a little message I sent to my mum on mother's day:
Mom, you are the first person I think of when I need comfort, and the first person I want to share my happiness with. Your love is everything. Thank you for always being there for me, no matter what. I am forever grateful to you. Mom, I am so grateful for everything you've done for me. You've shaped me into who I am, and I can’t imagine my life without you in it. Wishing you all the happiness and love in the world this Mother's Day.
