My Cartoon Character.

For this week's prove yourself as the best artist contest, I will present a cartoon character. A little kid with a balloon and a very loud smile on her face.

Materials for the Drawing

To draw the cartoon character, I will be using a piece of A4 plain paper and the items listed below;

• A4 plain paper
• A Shpner
• A Pencil
• An Eraser
• Oppo 3x Pro (Camera)

Step 1 [Prepping Materials]

I had my pencil ready with a good sharpener. With it, I drew some guidelines for the cartoon character.

Step 2 [Sketching a guide]

These are simple sketches that will determine where I draw the different parts and their proportions.
It all started simply, like a simple matchstick man.

Now the stick man is getting dressed up. First with a pair of trousers 👖 then a coat.

Step 3 [Cleaning off ]

I now have too many lines and have to clean off some of the lines that are not useful anymore.

Step 4 [Adding more details]

Bringing in the head, face, hands and feet.
I went into adding details to the face like the eyes

Step 5 [Shading]

Drawing time
To complete this drawing, it took the whole day. But I felt successful at the end because it looked good.

I have finally taken this picture with the cartoon character.
