THE DIARY GAME

Hello everyone,

Nursing Day, celebrated on 12 May every year, is a day for all of us nurses that is not just a celebration, but a day to recognize our contribution and take inspiration. This year was organized for me and my entire team, because we celebrated it not just rituals, but from heart.

Last night I fell asleep by putting an alarm and I got up on time in the morning. There was a special kind of happiness in the mind, which is felt only on Nursing Day. After getting ready in the morning, I first called my colleagues who could help in organizing, because I could not do any work alone and no one can do everything alone well, and then reached the hospital after tea and breakfast. All the nursing staff there looked already dressed and excited.

On reaching the hospital, I first wished all the nursing staff a happy nurses and gave each rose and a small useful gift to all the nursing staff. At the same time, I expressed their heartfelt gratitude for his service, professional dedication and his contribution to the community. When I saw flowers and smiles in everyone's hand, I felt that even a small appreciation can give so much energy.

In the afternoon we kept a small session in which we discussed 'Leadership in Nursing'. I talked to the young nursing staff, and how a nurse could not only take care of the patient, but also a responsible leader. The staff also expressed their views openly and this session was very effective. There was a discussion from both sides. The nursing staff, who had taken care of the patients very well and honored him by the patients, he honored him with a gift and Best Nurse certificate.

Celebration program was held in the auditorium in the evening. Nursing staff took part in it. Some nurses gave a brilliant royal dance performance, which filled the whole atmosphere with enthusiasm. A group performed Garba, and some also performed Bollywood mix dance. He was proud to see the talent of the staff that he was proficient in service as well as art.

The cake specially prepared for Nursing Day was brought before us. Everyone's faces blossomed after seeing the cake. It was made a very beautiful stethoscope and appron.

All nursing staff were invited on stage. We cut the cake between the applause echo together. It was not just a ritual, but was respected by the contribution of every nurse who is engaged in the service of patients day and night.

As soon as the cake was cut, everyone had a smile on his face. Some people also had light moisture in their eyes. Perhaps there was a mixed effect of fatigue, pride and happiness. We cut the cake and fed each other cake, photographed and imprisoned those moments forever. This small ceremony filled a new energy in our team. That sweetness was not just of cake, but also had affection, respect and relationship with each other, which we play every day.

At the end of the program, I was invited to HOD, stage. It was an emotional moment for me. I had thanked everyone and especially those nurses who are engaged in service without tired day and night. I shared my experiences and inspired to maintain the dignity of this profession.
