A flock of love flying in a friend's backyard

​When I went to my friend's house last week, I saw something amazing. I never thought I would see anything like this, but as soon as I entered their house, my eyes went to the yard—there I saw about thirty or forty pigeons eating together. The whole place looked completely different.

​I stared at them for a while. So many pigeons together, and how beautiful each one looked.Some were completely white, as if someone had spread white cotton. Some were black or gray, and when the sun hit their necks, they gave off a little green-blue shimmer. These looked very smart. Some pigeons were a mixture of brown and white—a beautiful pattern on their feathers. The most interesting thing was the feet of some of the birds, they were covered in feathers, it looked like they were wearing socks for fun, and a small chicken was also wandering around among them, as if it was also one of the group.When all the birds were eating together, their beaks were pecked together, and the sight of them flapping their wings in a word, a wonderful atmosphere.

​I asked my friend, "Where did you get so many birds?"
​He smiled and said, "They are my favorite, you know, just looking at them makes me feel good.

​I was really surprised to see the care they took. He also showed me their living quarters. It was beautifully made with bamboo and netting under a tin roof. My friend said that he feeds them first thing in the morning. And whenever he gets time, he comes and pets them. He said that these pigeons take away all the fatigue and worries of his day.

​It was very nice to see them being raised with so much love. It seemed that these pigeons were not just birds to my friend, but rather a part of himself, his place of peace.

To be honest, visiting my friend's house and seeing these pigeons was a strange and beautiful experience for me. It felt like I was able to be close to nature for a moment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. These winged friends made me feel better too.
