Jamalpur's rural life, enchanted by the monsoon
When the monsoon season arrives, the nature of Bangladesh takes on a new look. The greenery all around and the touch of sparkling water are a different and pleasant sight. Which reminds us of the eternal form of monsoon and the lifestyle of the common people mixed with it.

A vast body of water and a narrow path cut through the greenery. This scene of rain-soaked rural Bengal is very peaceful. It seems as if the cloudy sky and green trees are reflected in the calm water. The trees like kachuripana floating on the water have further enhanced the liveliness of nature. This peaceful nature of the village fills the mind with an unknown joy.

The scene of the water play in Kachikancha. The monsoon water is like a festive occasion for them. Some are laughing in groups, some are diving into the water independently. There is endless joy in their eyes and faces. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city life, the pure smiles of these children growing up in the lap of nature show how beautiful life can be with small joys. Looking at their wet bodies and excited faces, it seems as if they have become one with nature by dipping them in the monsoon water.

This pond is located in front of our house, where some ducks are roaming. The calm water and green banks of the pond, with the crop fields next to it, are an eternal image of rural Bengal. The ducks may be looking for their daily food or simply enjoying the cool touch of the water. This scene highlights the simplicity of rural life and their inseparable relationship with nature.

This is a dirt road in our area, with crop fields on one side and a flooded area on the other. Due to the rain, water has accumulated on the other side, and a ball field is being played on the other side, due to which a pool in the middle of the road for water to flow in and out has been blocked in the pool so that water cannot enter this side. The people of the village reach their destinations through this path. The people coming from afar seem to be moving forward despite the challenges of the monsoon. This picture tells the story of the resilience of the rural people and their adaptation to nature.

Overall, these pictures paint a great picture of rural life in Jamalpur during the monsoon. It is not just the beauty of nature, but also the simple and joyful way of life of people, especially children, with nature. The monsoon is not just a season of water and mud, it is a season of joy, celebration and an integral part of life for the people of rural Bengal.
