How are you all? I hope everyone is well by the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. I am also well by the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. Today I will share with you our favorite place, where day after day, hour after hour, passes.

This shop is not just a shop for us, it is our real hangout. The shop may look very ordinary—tin walls and tin roof. But it has a special charm for all our friends. Whether it is during school holidays or whenever we feel like it, we all come here.

​As soon as we enter the shop, we can smell a familiar smell—the smell of many kinds of chips, biscuits, and sweets. Various packets of savoury and sweet snacks are hanging in rows. As you can see in the pictures, there are large glass jars of muri, chanachur, and lozenges of various colors. Just looking at them makes your mouth water. And those hot singaras on that plate! A singara and a cup of tea—that was our best breakfast. Without them, our hangout would not have been as lively.

There is a small TV on one side of the shop. Whenever there was a game or a movie, we would all watch it together. The shop was always filled with the sound of the TV and our laughter. The shopkeeper, a woman, we all called her Bhabhi, we named this shop Bhabhi's shop. Bhabhi was also a friend to all of us. She knew everything by heart and who liked what. She was a member of our chat.

​We had so many stories sitting here! Fear of exams, winning and losing in cricket, what to do when we grow up—everything was discussed here. It felt as if time moved a little slower when we came to this shop, no one was in a hurry. This was a place to laugh and joke around freely.

​This shop is actually much more than bricks and mortar. It holds all our old memories and friendships. Now, maybe we can't all come together every day, because life has become busier. But whenever I remember the words or pictures of this shop, my mind calms down, a wave of love comes. This shop is not just a place to buy and sell things, it is a favorite corner of our hearts. This is our favorite address, which will always be in our memories.
