After the student movement of 2024, it was named after Shaheed Abrar Fahad. From there, it was named Shaheed Abrar Fahad Stadium, or Kushtia Stadium. On July 22, 2019, to implement this plan or stadium. The Bangladesh Planning Commissioner approved it. And for the implementation of this project, 440 million Bangladeshi taka was allocated to build or present this stadium.

On July 6, 2020, this stadium was named after Sheikh Kamal. On January 13, 2022, Zahid Hasan Russell invented the maintenance work of this stadium. In November 2024, this stadium was renamed. Shaheed Abrar Fahad Stadium, or Shaheed Abrar Fahad Stadium, was named.

In 6 months of 2025, the name of this stadium was presented as Shaheed Abrar Fahad Stadium, Kushtia and from that, people know this stadium as Shaheed Abrar Fahad Stadium, Kushtia Stadium. And it became known by this name.

Since Bangladesh is a country of 64 districts, it is from every district of this country. To come to Kushtia, various types of buses or CNG are available, which makes it very easy to come to the Kushtia district.
