Jaffna - Technology Faculty, Kilinochchi

Hello All,

This is my entry to the "SFB Atlas #15; Pin Your Recent Place" organized by @solaymann in the "Steem Bangladesh" community.
This post is about the Jaffna Technology Faculty in Kilinochchi city. This new faculty was established in 2016. It has basically two departments: Engineering Technology, Biosystems Technology, and Information Technology. This Faculty is based near the other two faculties, Science and Agriculture. Also, an MAS factory was located near this faculty. The first floating solar power station is also established near this faculty.

This area of Sri Lanka has a unique culture. It was always a pleasure to visit this side of the country.
The Faculty has been expanding its infrastructure steadily. Modern laboratories, computer centers, and engineering workshops provide students with the right environment to learn. The faculty is located in a comparatively rural area. But there is a comfortable guest house near the faculty premises.
Also, the "Heal Bojun" restaurant has a large amount of authentic Tamil foods. Unlike most of the restaurants, it has a circular design, with the sellers in the center, and other tables arranged around the center for the customers.

The Faculty of Technology, University of Jaffna, is not just producing graduates—it is creating great innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders who will contribute to Sri Lanka’s and the world's development.
