Rainy Day
Rainy days are somehow special days here in my country, we experience rainfall from April to October giving out some days as break during the month of August. During wet season some thing tho change being humans, goods and services. Most people tend to stay indoors because of the lazy effect rainy days produce.
Prices of commodities too also increases in most cases such as cardigans, sweaters, pullovers and some eatable goods. I celebrate my rainy days in different form though my work doesn't really need heavy rainfall. Being a mobile photographer, I really need sunlight to capture good quality photos and also create bright photos but due to excessive rainy days the sky gets dark which disrupt picture quality.
Heavy rainfall during rainy days keep me indoors disrupting school and work sessions. I have been at home during the rainy days sleeping, staying lazy and gaming. The flood in our compound is really the main issue here because flood from other compound moves in into our compound making it unbearable for us. We have informed other neighbours to contribute for a block that will stop flood from entering the compound.
Aside the flood and indoor stay, we make use of the rain water for drinking and washing. We collect the rain water from a direct source in a clean container inorder to reduce contamination. Rainy days are also photography hack days for me because I create beautiful slides from rain drops and nature.
Rainy days are also fun days, I can remember when we used to play in the rain as kids. It was a lovely moment though as child, creating memories that stick for long. We pay visit to places on rainy days to create long lasting memories with family and friends.
Rainy days are very beneficial to some crops here in my environment. Crops like yam, cassava, cereal and maize yield massively.
Thanks for going through my post ❤️
