The four best teams have secured their places in the semifinals of the 2025 Club World Cup. Spanish giants Real Madrid became the last team to qualify for the semifinals. In the quarterfinals, Real Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund with a narrow score of 3-2 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, on Sunday (6/7) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Real Madrid led with a score of 2-0 until normal time ended. However, in injury time, Borussia Dortmund came back by scoring two goals in reply through Maximilian Beier and a penalty from Serhou Guirassy. Kylian Mbappe scored the last goal and led Real Madrid to the semifinals of the 2025 Club World Cup.
