Rainy Day
Good night Steemit friends, how are you all? On this occasion I am trying to enter a contest held by a friend @mostofajaman with the theme Rainy Day
Rain is often associated with feelings of sadness, and there are several psychological and emotional reasons underlying this natural phenomenon. One is the emotionally supportive atmosphere created by rain. The gentle sound of falling water and the sight of a cloudy sky can create a calming, yet often heavy, atmosphere. When the surrounding environment feels quiet and silent, feelings of sadness or nostalgia can arise more intensely, reminding us of difficult moments in life.
Rain often triggers specific memories and emotional associations. Many people have life experiences associated with rainy weather, such as separation, loss, or even moments of reflection indoors. The smell of rain and the sound of trickling water can remind me of these times, triggering deep emotions and sometimes making me feel melancholy. I can use the rainy season to clean and tidy the house. I also catch up on pending work and complete tasks I haven't had time to complete.
Rain is a special and unique moment for some people, including me. The cool air, the distinctive scent of rain, and the sound of the raindrops often create a calming atmosphere. Rain often evokes nostalgic memories of my past, especially my childhood. During that time, I felt no burdens, and I could do whatever pleased me. Rain can also affect my mood and often evoke nostalgic memories that can bring sadness, longing, and melancholy. However, on the other hand, rain can also create a romantic and touching atmosphere. In short, rain gives me the opportunity to bond with my family, something I often can't do on a sunny day due to my busy work schedule. When it rains, I can watch television, do household activities, and do various other things.
Rain also provides time for reflection. When it rains, I prefer to stay indoors with my beloved family. The rain provides an opportunity to think and reflect on various aspects of life. In this silence, thoughts and feelings that may have been pent up can surface, often leading me to deep reflection. When rain reduces sunlight, it can affect my mood. Sunlight exposure is known to increase serotonin levels in the brain, which is associated with a better mood. When it rains, the lack of sunlight can make us feel more lethargic and increase feelings of sadness. Given these factors, it's not surprising that many people feel down when it rains. However, in general, I believe rain is still a blessing from Allah SWT for which we should be grateful.
I also invite friends @sualeha, @suboohi, @chant, and @pandora2010, to participate in this contest.
