The Diary Game - Friday, August 1, 2025: Minor Incident Between Students at School

Hello, good morning, approaching noon, to all my Steemian friends. How are you? I hope we are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing us to carry out all our activities well. Alhamdulillah, I'm back to share my daily activities on this happy day.

On Friday morning, a special day for Muslims worldwide, I woke up as usual. The call to prayer (adhan) sounded, signaling the arrival of dawn prayers. After fulfilling my obligations, I continued with my morning routine at home before leaving for work. It was past seven in the morning, Western Indonesian Time, when I left my beloved yard. The Friday morning streets I traveled were already quite busy with various activities. Many vehicles were already passing by until I arrived at one of my favorite coffee shops, Lom Kupi, not far from school.

Even though I have additional duties as a shift coordinator every Friday, I still take a moment at Lom Kupi to enjoy a cup of black coffee. Checking the time on my smartphone, I paid my bill and then left the coffee shop for my workstation. After parking my vehicle, I headed to the deputy's office to fill in my fingerprint attendance. This has become a must-do every time I arrive and leave school. If I forget, there will be consequences for every employee involved. Although some people miss the electronic attendance, including myself.

In a slight rush, I headed to the field to attend the regular group religious study. Every Friday morning, the lesson begins with the recitation of verses from the Quran. Friday is a very special day for Muslims. Reciting verses from the Quran on this blessed morning will earn me a multiplied reward from Allah SWT, the creator of the earth and all its inhabitants. After reading the Qur'an, the students were given a short break for about fifteen minutes before entering their respective classes to begin the teaching and learning process.

Next, I entered grade XII-3 to carry out my teaching duties according to the established schedule. During break, I helped the teacher on duty organize the distribution of free nutritious meals to the students. However, before returning to class to teach, a minor incident occurred between tenth-grade students, resulting in one of them being injured. To prevent further damage, I took the student to a nearby hospital for treatment. When another female teacher arrived at the hospital, I asked permission to go home because it was almost time for Friday prayers.

On my way home, I stopped briefly to pick up Raffa from school. Then I rested for a while until I heard the call to prayer from the loudspeaker at the Babul Huda Mosque in Panggoi. I immediately headed to the mosque to join the other congregants in performing the obligatory Friday prayers until they were completed. After Friday prayers, which are one of the special features of Friday, I simply rested at home until waking up around Asr. After Raffa's nanny left, I looked after him and played with him until my wife returned from work. That evening, I just did my usual activities until bedtime.
