How are you all? I hope you are well. By the grace of God, I am also well. Today I will share with you the story of an evening filled with love and the aroma of Kachchi.

Two to three days ago, the weather was cold and dark all around due to continuous rain all day. In the evening, my beloved suddenly told me that she wanted to eat Kachchi, but she would like it very much if she could eat Kachchi from Kachchi Bhai Restaurant.

She did not know then. After listening to her request, I quietly left—to Kachchi Bhai’s restaurant in Banasree, Dhaka. First, I went to our local market, Demra Staff Quarter. From my area to the staff quarter, it was still raining heavily, and there were many people on the road.

Then I boarded the bus, and after 30 minutes, I went to the Dhaka Banasree Kachchi Bhai Restaurant branch. When I got there, I saw that it was very beautifully decorated. I rested there for a while. A man came up to me and asked if I needed anything. Then I chose the order from the menu book and ordered Kachchi for 550 rupees per person, along with a chicken roast, a jali kebab and a bottle of borhani.

Then I took the food in my hand, took the slip and paid their bill and left for home again. Ignoring the rain on the road and everything, I returned home at exactly 7:30 pm with a packet of Kachchi in my hand. My wife looked at me with a surprised, very happy and a little arrogant smile—and I silently looked at her face and thought, Maybe love means small surprises. ❤🍽 Then my wife and your daughter happily ate together, and I was with them.
