SC-S24W3: Cartoon.

Hello, dear Steemit friends, I am participating in the "Cartoon" theme of the Steemit Challenge S24 Week 3. My sincere thanks to our respected moderator @jesusnunez for this creative challenge, who gave us the opportunity to showcase our skills and imagination through this art-based initiative.

Our theme this week was cartoon drawing, where we were advised to practise the structure of eyes, mouth, nose and facial features in an easy way. I tried to portray a funny and lively moment in this cartoon drawing of mine, where a boy and a girl are going somewhere on a scooter. The girl has a smile on her face, and the boy has a helmet on his head — I wanted to bring the colourful form of the cartoon with reality in the whole scene.

I completed this art through freehand drawing, where I used pencil, black pen and coloured pencil. Each step of drawing it was a new experience of learning and joy for me. I hope you will like my effort, and your valuable feedback will encourage me more.

I am starting my post step by step now.

Step -01

First I take the necessary paper and coloured pencils for art. Then I start drawing a scooter. First I draw the headlight, front show and two looking glasses on both sides. Then I draw a front wheel.

Step -02

Then I start drawing a picture of a boy here. First I draw the most important thing for riding a scooter, i.e., the helmet. Then I draw the boy's chest.

Step -03

Then I draw the entire part of the scooter, and the boy is sitting here beautifully. You can see I have drawn his eyes, face, hands, and legs—the entire part.

Step -04

Then I draw a picture of a girl in the back. The girl is smiling, you can see. Here, the head part of both of them has been deliberately enlarged in the technique of caricature. I drew everything in detail: the girl's face, eyes, nose, hands, and feet.

Step -05

Then I started the colouring step. First, I painted the girl's hair black, then the lips red. I painted the boy's helmet blue and the front of the scooter red.

Step -06

Then I used black watercolour to paint the girl's clothes black and the boy's light beard-like part black. Then I painted the tyre part of the front wheel of the scooter black.

Step -07

Finally, I painted the entire body of the scooter light purple. Then I used black and light blue on the boy's pants and shirt. I painted the boy's legs light blue and light purple.

Step -08

Finally, as per the community guidelines, I took a picture with my hand-drawn artwork and wrote my username there.
