The selected topic of the second week is A Favourite Natural Tourist Attraction (Park, Mountain Walk, Scenic Spot). In that continuation, today I will share the charming beauty of a popular park in my beloved city of Rajshahi.

Today I will review A.H.M kamaruzzaman central park & zoo in Rajshahi city. A.H.M kamaruzzaman central park & zoo is known as one of the entertainment centers of Rajshahi city, known as Green City. It is a very popular place among the people of Rajshahi city for its charming natural beauty and various types of animals. It is especially known as an attractive place for children.
A.H.M kamaruzzaman central park & zoo is a part of the culture and heritage of Rajshahi city and is an important center of entertainment. A.H.M kamaruzzaman central park & zoo is located in a beautiful natural environment and is a wonderful place for visitors. Here the beauty of the Padma River can be enjoyed from the artificial hill.
Tickets and Entry Rules:
Ticket Counter
The park is open to the public from 10 am. However, it is mandatory to collect tickets for everyone, starting from children above 5 years of age, to enter the park. The park is open from 10 am to 6 pm. The park is more crowded during holidays than other days. Tourists from far and wide come to enjoy the beauty of this park. The ticket price to enter the park per person is 25 bdt & in steem price 1.66 steem.

History of A.H.M Kamaruzzaman central park & zoo
The place where A.H.M Kamaruzzaman central park & zoo is now located was earlier known as Racecourse Maidan and horse racing was held here. Later it was converted into Central Park and was added as a park in 1974-76.
Parking Area
There is a good parking system outside the park. There is a system for parking all types of cars. Employees have been kept in the parking area to keep an eye on them with safety. Tourists from far and wide come here to enjoy the beauty of the park. Therefore, the park authorities ensure the safety of the tourists coming to the park, thinking about the safety of everyone.
Wildlife and Flora
As soon as you enter the park, you will see the charming green nature. As far as the eye can see in the park, only the greenery is visible. There are some century-old trees in this huge park, which make the park known as a unique example of nature in the eyes of tourists. Tourists can enjoy the green nature from close up, sitting in the cool shade of the wide branches of these century-old trees. If you want to breathe in the green nature, this park is one of them.
Clean environment
There are also many betel trees around the park. The trees are very tall and planted in rows. The environment of the park is very clean and noise-free. Everyone likes to spend time with family, loved ones and friends in a quiet environment. There are many domestic and foreign flower trees around the park. Flowers of different colors can be seen on the trees, but the beauty of the flowers blooms more in winter.There is a comfortable seating area if you want to enjoy nature with your loved ones.

When you come to the park, you must definitely see the unique attraction of animals and birds. This park has some wild animals and birds that attract tourists to the park. The parks are full of animals like before. Some almost extinct wild animals can be seen inside the cages.

There are several lakes around the park. There are tall rows of coconut and betel nut trees around the lake. The rows of trees enhance the beauty of the park. There is seating around the lake to enjoy the beauty of the lake. There is a small bridge to walk over the lake. Also, this bridge over this lake is a great place to take pictures. The view of this bridge attracts the attention of tourists who come here. One of the notable features of this park is the lake with the bridge.
Many different species of fish can be seen in the water of the lake. There are colorful fish in the water of the lake. Tourists throw food into the water to attract them. When many fish gather to eat, the fish floating in the water of the lake look beautiful.

Tourists can be seen floating on paddle boats in the lake. Tourists enjoy wonderful moments in the water of the lake in the park. Tourists do not make a mistake in enjoying these moments when visiting this park. Boat riding in the lake is an example of a very wonderful time.

There are various types of food stalls inside the park. There is also a cafe where visitors to the park can eat their favorite food. Different brands of cold drinks and packaged foods are available here. There is a good arrangement for sitting inside the cafe. Tourists can enjoy their favorite foods while sitting inside the cafe. The cafe has public access. Since the park is an entertainment center, people from different districts choose it as a picnic spot every year. Especially in winter, people from different districts come here for picnics.

There is a mosque inside the park. The mosque was built by the park authorities to ensure that tourists visiting the park can pray on time. This mosque has all the facilities for both men and women to pray.

Amusement parks are dedicated places where there are various types of rides. To enjoy the rides, tickets have to be collected from the designated ticket counter. For each ride, a ticket worth 20 bdt & steem price 1.33 steem per person has to be collected.
Along with children, adults can also enjoy the rides in the park. The sleeper ride in the park is a very interesting ride for children. Children love to ride sleeper rides.
Slipper Ride
Another interesting ride in this park is the Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel ride is a special attraction because during the ride, tourists can observe the view of the park and the surrounding city.

The rocket ride is elongated, it rotates around its center. Multiple separate vehicles are connected to the arms extending from the central structure.

Undoubtedly, the park is a unique example of nature. Still, some artificial attractions have been created in the park. A.H.M kamaruzzaman central park & zoo is quite popular among tourists for its various sculptures. These artificially created sculptures bear the unique characteristics of the park.

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the park is in the morning and afternoon. It is a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise in the early morning light and the sunset in the late afternoon amidst nature. Also, the sweet fragrance of the flowers blooming on the trees in the park's garden floats with the wind. If you want to enjoy the sweet scent of the flowers sitting in the cool afternoon breeze, you must visit in the afternoon.

For photographers, the beautiful environment of the park is very nice to capture the morning sunrise and evening sunrise. Also, there is an opportunity to enjoy the ebb and flow of the Padma River standing on the artificial peak of the park, which no nature lover would ever want to miss.
The large and attractive staircase that can be seen above, can be climbed up this staircase and the beauty of the Padma River located next to the park can be enjoyed by standing on the top of the artificial hill. Standing on the hill, a beautiful pattern of the river catches the attention of tourists.
Personal Experience
The park has some special features that have made it popular. The park is surrounded by greenery and most of the trees in the park are herbal. The sculptures built in the park make the park more attractive. There are some special rides in the park for the entertainment of children, so this park is quite popular with children. Since the park is located next to the Padma River, it is a part of tourism and culture. This park is a favorite destination for family trips and school trips during holidays and festivals. My advice to future tourists coming here would be to visit A.H.M Kamaruzzaman Central Park & Zoo with family or loved ones if you want to spend time in a clean environment free from noise. Come and visit with enough time in hand to explore the park well. The unique beauty of the park will fascinate the travelers here.
