Today I will try to review with you about our Bagbati field in Sadar Upazila of Sirajganj district, we usually see big playgrounds and stadiums in urban areas, big tournaments are organized in those big stadiums in urban areas, football tournaments, cricket tournaments, different teams participate in those tournaments.
But in our rural areas, there are no big stadiums for playing sports, but most places have fields for children to play, especially almost every school has a field for school students to play, some educational institutions have small fields, while some educational institutions have very large fields, the students of those educational institutions play in that field.

In educational institutions where the field is small, no major tournament can be organized, only the students of that school play, but in schools where the field is very large, various types of tournaments are organized, sometimes football tournaments are organized, sometimes cricket tournaments are organized.
The field that I am sharing with you today is the Bagbati High School field located in Bagbati village, Bagbati village is located in Sirajganj Sadar, this field adjacent to Bagbati High School is very large, that is why various major tournaments are organized in this field from time to time, in which teams from different districts and upazilas of Bangladesh participate.

Currently, an upazila-based football tournament has been organized in this field, the group stage games of that tournament are going on, a festive atmosphere has already been created in this area around this football tournament, football matches of the said tournament are held in this field for two days every week, several upazilas of Sirajganj and several upazilas of other districts are participating in this football tournament.
Many people come to this field on the day of the match to enjoy the matches of this football tournament, because this field is very big, it is possible to organize big tournaments, around this football tournament, galleries have been made of bamboo and wood around the field, all the spectators who will come to the field to watch the football match will be able to enjoy the football match by sitting in the last stadium made of bamboo and wood for 30 taka.

Yesterday I went to visit the Bagbati High School field, I was very surprised when I went there because this is the first time that a gallery made of bamboo and wood is made around any stadium, these galleries have been made by the football tournament organizing committee, from the day of the match, the entire galleries are filled with people.
The interesting thing is that every match of this tournament is video recorded and a separate gallery has been arranged to record the video, it is a little higher and has to be climbed up by bamboo stairs, and a dressing room made of bamboo has been made separately for the organizing committees of the football match and for the players of the two teams to sit.

People come from far and wide to watch this football tournament match at Bagbati High School ground, this tournament matches are held every Tuesday and Saturday of the week, each match of the tournament is held at 4 pm, many people start arriving at the ground from the morning to watch the football matches from the front, because when the game starts, there is no space available due to the large number of people.
One of the reasons for sharing this ground with you today is that as a child I went to play cricket in this ground, although our game was not a tournament, our cricket match was with the boys of Bagbati village, we won that match and returned home with the prize, when I went to visit this ground yesterday, I remembered that childhood memory.

After the group stage matches of this football tournament are over, the knockout stage will begin. From there, the semi-finals will be played. The winning team in the semi-finals will play the final. To get to this field, you can go to Pipulbaria Bazar from anywhere and rent an auto for five taka. Since the field is next to the road, many people come here to watch the game.
