Today I will try to share with you about our village's place of worship, Purbukhukshia Jame Masjid, there are two mosques in our village, out of which this mosque is the main one, the reason for sharing this mosque with you is, I serve as the Imam of this mosque, I have been related to this mosque since childhood, currently I serve as the Imam of this mosque, I have been appointed as the Imam of this mosque for a year.

There was only one mosque in our village, after our village was destroyed by the Jamuna River, the people of the village settled in different places, due to which there are two mosques, the current mosque was established in this place in 2000, earlier the mosque was in front of our village, now it is located in the middle of the Jamuna River, the mosque was built here because the mosque in the previous place was destroyed by the Jamuna River.

The most important aspect of this mosque in our village is that there is an Eidgah ground with this mosque, where the two Eid prayers are offered, I lead this Eid prayer, along with the mosque, the government primary school and high school of our village are located, the teachers of these two schools offer the Zuhr prayer in our mosque every day at noon, they played a big role in establishing this mosque in our village here.

All the people of our village and the mosque committee requested me to take charge as an imam. I am currently serving as an imam here to fulfill their request. At one time, the salary of the imam of our mosque was not paid properly, but now after the formation of a new mosque committee, the salary of the imam is paid properly every month. Currently, the president of our mosque is freedom fighter Mohammad Saiful Islam, general secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam, and financial advisor Mohammad Masud Rana. Currently, all the members of the mosque committee are performing their duties properly.

There is a maktab room in front of our mosque building for the study of students, in front of it is the only road in our village, our mosque building is semi-paved, the walls around the mosque are plastered and there is a tin roof on top, there is a beautiful ceiling under the tin roof, beautiful tiles are installed on the floor of the mosque, the place where the imam stands and prays in front of the mosque is beautifully decorated, there is a member to give the imam's speech.

Since the mosque is in our village, there is no garden or courtyard in front of the mosque, but since there is an Eidgah ground and two educational institutions with the mosque, there are many places where young boys of the area play. If there are many worshippers at the mosque, arrangements are made for the worshippers to stand and pray in the Eidgah ground next to the mosque. When someone in our village dies, arrangements are made for his funeral prayer in the Eidgah ground next to the mosque.

The environment inside the mosque, the place of worship in our village, is very beautiful. There are enough electric fans inside the mosque. There is enough lighting so that all the worshippers can pray beautifully. There are two ways to view the prayer schedule for the worshippers to know the prayer time correctly, one is a digital schedule and the other is a clock with the prayer schedule.

In case of power outage, IPS has been arranged so that the worshippers do not suffer, through which the electric fan and lights of the mosque continue to run even if the power goes out, there is a small solar system that only lights a few lights, besides, there is a microphone for the worshippers of the mosque to hear the call to prayer and a sound box is arranged so that the worshippers praying in the mosque can hear the full sound.

Since I am the Imam of this mosque in our village, I have to offer prayers in this mosque every day, my experience here is that all the worshippers of this mosque love me very much, if I am unable to be there for any reason, then they are very worried, every Friday before the Friday prayer, I give a speech to the worshippers, they listen to it with great interest, many worshippers come to offer prayers in this mosque on Friday just to hear my speech.

Among the various facilities of this mosque in our village, there are two toilets and an ablution room and a tubewell for ablution. Our mosque has a submersible system for water extraction and a tank. Since it is a village mosque, it is not clean most of the time, but there are some people in the village who try to keep these places clean. The ablution room of our mosque is much more beautiful.

Our mosque has a system of teaching the Quran to young students of the village every afternoon. I teach them the Quran every afternoon after Asr prayers. In addition to teaching the Quran every day, a speech program is organized once a week on Saturday for the religious and social awareness of the people of the village. There, various religious issues and social and educational issues are discussed with the people of the village present.

Our mosque has a donated fund, from this fund various developmental works of the mosque are done, from that fund the electricity bill of the mosque is paid every month, from the mosque fund there is a plan to build the mosque with a four-story foundation in the future, we are already receiving donations from different people for that plan.

Muslims from different places can come and pray in this mosque of our village, this mosque of our village is open to everyone, people from different countries of the world have come to our mosque for Tablighi, although there are less Muslims every day, on Friday many Muslims come to offer Jumu'ah prayers, then the entire mosque is filled, since I took charge as the Imam, I have been trying to work in various ways for the development of the mosque, especially trying to hold a Waz Mahfil once every year.

I am also trying to protest all the injustices in our village from our mosque, so that everyone refrains from injustice, oppression, oppression, and injustice, and so that all the people in the village treat each other well and everyone can live together in harmony. I am trying to do that in various ways, I hope that we will be able to decorate our village beautifully, which we will try to manage from this mosque.
