There are two educational institutions in our small village, these two educational institutions are located in one place, one is a government primary school and the other is a high school, the name of the Purbakhakshya village is attached to the names of the two educational institutions, such as Purbakhakshya Government Primary School and Purbakhakshya High School, if you search on Google, Purbakhakshya High School is found but the government primary school is not found.

At first, I thought I would write about the high school in our village, but later I thought it would be better to write about the government primary school, because I studied in this school as a child, thousands of memories are associated with this school, my father taught in this school, my brother and sister and I studied in this school, those times of this school in childhood are sweet memories and are embedded in life, which can never be forgotten.

This government primary school located in Purbakhukshia village of Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj district started its journey in 1970. This government primary school was established a year before the liberation war of our Bangladesh. The main place of this educational institution has disappeared into the riverbed. The school was shifted to the current location in 2000.

As Kazipur upazila, this school is counted as the 31st government primary school. Since its establishment, the school has been teaching students with great reputation. When this school was established, there were only a few schools in our area, among them this primary school of our village was the best. At that time, students came from far and wide to get education in this school.

Currently, there are two buildings of the Free Education Institute, one is an old tin house, and a Shaheed Minar has been installed in front of that house. Although the Shaheed Minar is very small, everyone respects this Shaheed Minar. The Shaheed Minar was supposed to be made bigger, but due to various problems, it was not made bigger. There are plans to make a bigger and more beautiful Shaheed Minar in the future.

The second building is a three-story building. A sluice gate has been installed in this building so that no one can enter when the school is closed. The inside of this school building is very beautifully decorated. The school office room is located on this floor. If you stand on the school balcony, you will feel as if you can see the blue sky above, because the roof of the balcony is beautifully decorated.

Standing on the balcony, looking above the head, you can see pictures of different planets, and the color of the balcony roof has been made blue, along with the walls of the balcony decorated with alphabets of different languages, each classroom of the school is decorated in different ways to attract the attention of the students, there is a play area for young students in the children's class room, the alphabets of different languages and the national issues of our country have been mentioned by drawing on that day.

Since the educational institution is in front of our house, we have to walk past it every day, especially behind the school there is a road that we walk along constantly, because the two institutions are together, the space in front of it is very large, many trees have been planted in that place, since it is a new building of the high school, a road has been built in front of this school, it is necessary for the school students to play a little.

There are many trees in front of the main building of the school. At one time, a flower garden was built here, but due to neglect, that flower garden has been destroyed. Currently, there are some trees that bear fruit, but the people of the area have already eaten those fruits, due to which the school students cannot eat those fruits in the garden anymore. Since it is a rural area, only sand can be seen in the area in front of the school.

Although this educational institution in our village is run by the government, a committee has been formed in the village as a school, so that the quality of education in the school is improved. Currently, the president of the school is our village's Md. Rafiqul Islam, who is a prominent businessman. There are also 15 members in the committee who perform various duties.

All the members of the committee are working in various ways for the betterment of the school, a meeting is arranged every three months to improve the quality of education in the school and sometimes a parent meeting is organized in which all the members of the committee and school officials are present.

Since the educational institution is in the village, there is no separate room for the headmaster or leader, there is an office room where all the teachers of the school sit in between classes and eat and drink during tiffin, and there is a room for the school office assistant where he spends the night and guards the school.

The school classrooms are very neat and beautiful, in the children's class, students are placed on the floor, beautiful arrangements have been made for them to sit on the floor, in addition to making the children's studies interesting, there are various sports facilities for their entertainment and there is a facility for listening to music for their entertainment.

Every class, except the children's class, has a strong branch arrangement for students to sit, there is an electricity system to provide adequate light in every classroom, there is an electric fan system so that students do not suffer from heat, arrangements are made to keep a beautiful environment at all times to make the students' studies beautiful, there is a good arrangement for students to study from residential schools before the annual examination.

This educational institution is located in the village and is a primary school, so there is no separate room for examinations, each class's examinations are held in their classrooms, questions are distributed by the government for the examinations, each class teacher teaches the assigned subject and he/she takes the students' examinations on that subject, notebooks and question papers for the examinations are provided by the government for free.

Similarly, there is no separate library in this educational institution, there is a cupboard on one side inside the office room to keep books, books are kept there, and there is a provision for keeping books in the office assistant's room. There is no separate canteen for eating and drinking in the institution, there is a cooking facility under the stairs and there is a provision for washing the hands and face of the students there.

In the educational institution, students are given first aid education, students are divided into different teams according to class and each team is given first aid education. In addition to the curriculum, this school tries to develop students in various ways, such as organizing painting competitions, singing, acting competitions, speech competitions among students, as well as organizing various art competitions. Students participate very enthusiastically in these competitions, because consolation prizes are given to everyone who participates in these competitions and special prizes are given to those who win.

Although there were a lot of students in the educational institution at one time, the number of students is now very low. This school has a total of 6 teachers and one office assistant. Everyone is trying in various ways to increase the number of students in this educational institution. The quality of education is gradually improving. If the quality of education improves, the number of students will increase. The students of this school are provided with government stipends.
