A sewing machine suddenly breaks down and I try to fix it myself in vain.
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I am also fine, Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah. Everyone gets a little disappointed when their work suddenly breaks down, right? But I was not disappointed at all this time, but I tried to solve the problem on my own. Since I do not do regular sewing work. So the sewing machine is not used that way. Even if you do not use it regularly, you do not always take care of it. If something is left unattended, it becomes worthless. It has been almost 5 years since I got the machine and the machine has never had such a problem. But suddenly the machine had a mechanical fault. While sewing clothes on the sewing machine, I saw that the hand wheel of the machine was not working at all. I sat and wondered why this was happening all of a sudden. I thought for a while how to do it. And how to turn this wheel. This is the first time I have faced such a problem.
After thinking for some time, I saw some tutorials on YouTube about why something stops working due to a problem with the machine. Then I opened the machine's parts one by one and checked where there was a problem. I first opened the bobbin part of the machine to see if there was a problem there. Everything is fine there. Then I opened the hand wheel nut and checked that there was a jam there. I fixed it with the machine oil. Then I opened the part of the machine where the needle is and checked it and I saw that the problem was in the needle bar. I tried but failed to fix it. I spent about 4 hours fixing this machine but I could not succeed and I left it as a failure. However, I was able to fix some parts of the machine. Out of 10%, I was successful in 8% but the remaining 2% could not.
I took the machine for service without further delay so that the problem could be resolved quickly. I took my auto to Nimtala and there was a Swan Mechanical shop there, he was a very reliable officer. So I took it to him for servicing. As soon as I told him the problem, he didn't waste any time and checked the machine and said that the needle bar needs to be changed. I asked him how much it costs and he said 300 taka and that he will charge 100 taka for his service charge. He asked for a total of 400 taka. I told him no problem, you work and I will give you 400 taka.
He started working without delay. First he cut out the needle bar and fitted the new bar nicely then he checked the whole machine again and saw if there was any other problem. Why couldn't he find the problem he cleaned the machine and oiled it. Then I paid his bill and took the auto home.
