Contest: Rainy day

Hello friends, welcome to my blog, I am @mercybliss from Nigeria. I will be participating in this contest titled Rainy Day, so have fun while going through my post.

I love rainy days so much because the weather is always very calm and the atmosphere is also not hot.

So I will be sharing how I spent my day on a rainy day.

I woke up in the morning, I came out of my house, then I looked at the sky, which looked like it was going to rain, I asked myself.

And I have an examination this morning, so I dressed up and started going to school, but while going, I picked up my umbrella, because in the rainy season, you must go out with your umbrella,. After all, the weather can change at any time.

I had not even reached school and it started raining heavily, thank God that I was with my umbrella, within one hour it stopped, then I decided to snap this picture using my umbrella.

When I was done with examination in the afternoon, I went back home. Immediately, I reached my house, it started raining heavily again, and I thanked God that I had reached my house before it started raining again.

Because it was cold, I went straight to my bed and lay down. When I was resting on my bed, a lot was going through my mind. I remembered when I was a kid, if it was raining, I would come outside and start playing in the rain.

Wow, I have really missed my childhood.

I was very hungry, but I couldn't go out and buy something because the rain was very heavy.

In the evening, when it finally stopped, I went to an eatery very close to my house and bought food.
I needed to eat something very hot, enough pepper, and spicy.

I got there and I ordered jellof rice and chicken, if you eat jellof rice when it is raining you will enjoy it so much.

The rainy season is among the best seasons I love, even though it sometimes prevents me from going out, but I still prefer it to other seasons we have, like the dry season, the harmattan season.

This is how I spent my rainy day today ❤️
