Cooking as one of my hobbies//Rice & Stew// 5-10-2025.
Today, 5th October, 2025 is a glorious day of delicious meal, and it all started with my breakfast, a steaming plate of rice and stew.
The rice was fluffy and tender, while the stew was rich and flavourful, with just the right balance of spices. It was a true reflection of my passion for cooking, and as an article writer, I have to share with all my steemian friends.
Now, back to the star of the show, my rice and stew. The ingredients were simple yet fresh: 5 cups of rice, sachet tomatoes, Groundnut oil, fresh fish, meat, fresh pepper, onions, salt, and Maggi.
I began by parboiling the rice, washing it after 15 minutes, and then cooking it with 3 cups of water until it was done to perfection.
While the rice cooked, I started preparing the stew. I seasoned the fresh fish and meat, chopped the onions and fresh tomatoes, and pounded the fresh pepper.

The arrangement was set, and I poured the Groundnut oil into the pot, heating it up before adding the ingredients in just the right order.

Twenty minutes flew by, and before I knew it, my stew was ready. I dished it out alongside my fluffy rice, and the combination was absolute perfection. The flavours melded together in harmony.
Each bite was a testament to the joy of cooking. As I sat down to enjoy my meal, I felt grateful for the simple pleasures in life, a warm dining table, a delicious meal, and the satisfaction of creating something with my own two hands. And as I savoured each bite, I knew that this was just the beginning of a wonderful culinary adventure.
