In our village, this game has been played by the village children for a long time. The game is very nice to watch. When I see stick game, I remember the old days. Earlier, stick game was played regularly in our village. With the passage of time, the game is no longer seen. Now this game is played once every year. And in the past, it was played on some festival or every Friday or once a month. But now that time is gone.

Although this is mainly a game of rural Bengal, this game is also popular in urban areas. In the past, landlords and farmers used to play this game for self-defense. However, today it is part of the tradition and culture of rural Bengal. Stick game is organized at various festivals and fairs. On the one hand, stick game is a physical exercise, as well as a keeper of tradition and culture.
Lathi Khel is not just a game, it is part of the tradition and culture of rural Bengal. This game increases the physical skills, courage and morale of the players. Lathi Khel is usually played in teams. Each team has 6 to 12 players. This game requires special clothes and sticks. Players perform various tricks to the beat of drums and flutes. There are different techniques of lathi khel, such as naka khadra, naka doba, and naka melano. This game is usually played in the open field of the village or at fairs.
