My Best Moments of Eid | A well-spent Eid with Family.

Eid went by too quickly. All fun and excitement is over; now it's time to reenter our world of work!

Eid was extra special this year because it coincided with my son's birthday on the same day, March 31st.

Our Eid was full of preparing for the Birthday as well as celebrating the Eid say. We didn't go to our hometown this year but stayed at our Dhaka home. But we invited a few guests and also we visited some of their homes; so it was exciting.

Preparation for Eid:

We have been planning on wishing our son on the day of Eid rather than on the day before at midnight, to make it extra special. So after he fell asleep, we started to decorate our room with balloons and toys to surprise him when he got up.

It worked perfectly and we then cut the birthday cake and enjoyed it afterwards.

Fashion outfit on Eid:

I bought a few clothing items for Eid including Salwer & Kamiz, Borkha, and Scarf. I'm a practicing Muslima so I'm apologizing that I couldn't share my "Fit check'.

However, you can see me with my son where I wore Borkha and we have been to some places in this Eid holiday. Moreover, as it was my son's birthday, we focused on his happiness and outfit more than us.

Favorite foods for Eid:

Eid can't go well without cooking some special food. I have prepared a few dishes for Eid day as well as for the next days to invite and serve my guests.

I made beef and mutton curry, chicken roast, vegetables, eggplant fries, salad, pudding, Shemai, dal, and many more. I will share them later in detail in another post.

My favorite was the chicken roast and the Shemai. The egg pudding didn't come out as expected. But I was amazed at how well I cooked the other dishes without anyone's help. Everyone also appreciated my cooking skills.

Eid travel moments:

This year for the very first time, the government arranged an "Eid Festival" in front of the China-Bangladesh conference hall. But the fair was not that exciting, there were a few rides for the kids and some clothing & food stalls.

We enjoyed the crowd-free metro tour more than the festival itself.

On day 2 of Eid, we have been to Gulshan Park. It was nice over there, the natural beauty of the park and the kid's zone were fun and adventurous.

On day 3, we have been to the Bangladesh Navy Park located at Agargaon. It was a nice tour, the park was very spacious, and many rides and games were going on; we enjoyed it and it was an exciting day.

The holiday is over, from next Sunday everyone has to go to work and school will also start soon.

The days went by so quickly as I have said earlier and it sure felt like so. Fortunately, the Eid days went pretty well, with many fun and exciting tours around the city.
